Bets & Bargains - Part 6

Series Masterlist
➪in which you and bradley reach a new point in your...‘relationship’ after your fourth date takes an unexpected turn, and it leaves both of you aching for more.
PSA: strongly suggested to read the warnings before proceeding.
WC; 6k | Do not repost this anywhere, reblogs are fine ♡
You were going into your second hour of class when Bradley texted you, and while you would usually remind yourself to get back to him later and focus on taking notes, you put your pen down and pick up your phone instead, hiding it behind your book as you read the text.
Fratley: What are you doing later tonight?
You glance up at your teacher, and once you were sure he wouldn’t catch onto what you were doing, you quickly text him back.
Nothing, why?
Fratley: There’s a new horror movie out. For some reason I have a weird feeling that you’re into those kinds of movies.
You laugh to yourself, making sure Mr. Clarke wasn’t paying attention before replying to him.
I have no idea how you knew I like horror movies, but I’m down. What time?
Fratley: It starts at 7:20. I can pick you up for 7?
Sounds good.
You were giddy throughout the rest of the class and had barely paid any attention to what Clarke was saying by the time the class ended.
You got home at around 6, and quickly had a shower before Bradley would be here. The fact that you and he haven’t gone more than a day without seeing each other since you met was making you feel all sorts of things, and all of them were good. You couldn’t believe how much you liked him in such little time. It was almost concerning.
Sam was still a bit pissed off with you since you officially ended things with her brother, but you knew she would come around sooner or later. You didn’t need to marry Luke to be able to consider her your sister. In all honesty, you never saw yourself marrying Luke in the first place. You were still so young, why were you even thinking about marriage right now?
You push away those thoughts and get ready for the movie, opting to dress in black leggings and a cropped tee. You grabbed your UVA hoodie and draped it over your arm as you ran your fingers through your still damp hair. It would dry on the drive to the movies, and you were lucky enough to be one of those people whose hair didn’t get overly frizzy if you didn’t blow dry it.
Fratley: I’m here early. I couldn’t help it.
You smile at your phone and leave your room. Just as you were making your way to the door, your fingers typing out a reply to Bradley, Sam leaves her room and blocks your path. “Jesus,” you laugh as you abruptly stop walking. “I didn’t know you were home.”
Sam crosses her arms and tilts her head. “Where are you going? On another date with your rebound?”
You furrow your brows and put your phone in your pocket. “My rebound?”
“Yeah, that guy you’ve been seeing pretty much every day since that party,” she replied, squinting her eyes at you afterwards. “You know, the party I took you to.”
She was acting hostile again, and you weren’t sure why. This couldn’t be because you and Luke were done and that you were moving on, right? She wasn’t that petty, right? “Oh right,” you play along, crossing your own arms. “The party you ditched me at.”
Sam straightened up at that and her scowl deepened. “I already said I was sorry for that,” she muttered.
“I know, and I’ve already forgiven you, so I’m not sure why you’re bringing it up again,” you huff, annoyed that she was still going on about this when you could be with Bradley right now.
“Because,” she rolled her eyes. “If you never went to that party, you would’ve never met that Bradshaw guy and you would’ve never broken up with Luke.”
You laugh in disbelief. “Are you serious?” You ask, and when her expression doesn’t change, you stand up straighter. “Well maybe I would’ve met him on campus. We ran into each other the day after out of pure coincidence, I could’ve met him for the first time then. And Luke and I have been broken up. For a while now. I’ve moved on, and so should the both of you.”
Sam opened her mouth to respond, but you were fed up. You pushed past her and grabbed your keys from off the coffee table, glancing back at her as you shoved them into your bag.
“And for the record, Bradley is not a rebound,” was the last thing you said before opening the door and closing it behind you. You were a bit heated as you stepped outside, but the sight of Bradley leaning against the passenger side door of his Jeep calmed you down a bit. You were a bit breathless as you walked swiftly down the steps and reached him, lifting your hand and setting it on his shoulder. “Hi.”
He smiled down at you, his hands wrapping around your middle and pulling your body right up against his. “Hi,” he said back before leaning down and pressing his lips to yours. The kiss caught you off guard since it was only the second one you’ve shared with him, but the surprise quickly wore off as you deepened it. Bradley kept his face close to yours when he pulled away and murmured, “I saw that you read my text but you didn’t come out for a while. I got worried.”
His confession had you feeling warm for a completely different reason and you smiled up at him, sliding your hand down and gripping his bicep. “Yeah, sorry,” you trail off, your head a bit fuzzy from the kiss. “I was going to text you back, but Sam, my roommate, decided to start something with me just as I was about to leave.”
“Ah, the roommate,” he teased, reaching up to run his knuckles along your jaw. “Do I get to meet her soon?”
You laugh and shake your head, glancing behind you at the closed door before turning back to him. “Probably not. She’s my ex’s sister, and she’s a bit more than pissed that her brother and I are done,” you say and Bradley presses his lips together to stifle a laugh. “Might not be the best idea to formally introduce her to my ‘rebound’.” You complete the sentence by lifting your hand and finger quoting ‘rebound’, making Bradley let out a loud laugh as he leans further back against the Jeep.
“Rebound, huh?” He grunted. “That hurts, babe, it really does.”
You blush and shrug, meeting him halfway when he starts to lean back in for a second time. He kisses you quickly before pushing away from the Jeep and opening the door for you. “Thanks,” you mumble and sit in the passenger seat. “You kept it running?”
“Had to make sure your seat warmer was on,” he simply answered and your blush deepened, but he thankfully closed the door before he could see it. The darkening sky also helped hide it. “Ready to go?” He asked once he was in the driver’s seat, looking over at you with his annoyingly pretty brown eyes.
“Yeah,” you whisper and put your seatbelt on as he pulls away from the curb. “So what’s this movie about?”
“I don’t know, I think maybe it’s about a nun getting pregnant or something like that,” he answered and you nod with a quiet laugh.
“Nice choice,” you tease and he glances over at you.
“Hey, it’s supposed to be one of those scary convent movies. I thought you’d be into that kinda thing,” he smirked and you had to physically restrain yourself from kissing him again. How was he so effortlessly hot?
“Oh, I’m into it,” you hum and take his hand when he holds it out to you. He kept his left one on the steering wheel as you lace your fingers with his, and you tried not to think about just how big his hands are.
Seriously, Y/n, get a grip here. He’s cute, but he’s just a guy. A very cute guy. A kind guy. A stupidly attractive guy.
And that’s how you found yourself feeling completely screwed for a second time this week.
-
Even though it had only been a day, Bradley somehow found himself missing you.
It was crazy, because he shouldn’t be missing you so soon, but he couldn’t help it. He also couldn’t help the way he kissed you against his Jeep when he picked you up, and he was a bit nervous that you were going to react negatively since you and he weren’t actually official.
But you kissed him back and he was given the reassurance he needed to go on with this date.
Is this a date? Is this his third date with you? Or maybe fourth if you counted the brief movie night at his place, which he does.
Four dates in and he hadn’t even asked you to be his girlfriend. He’s seen you almost every day this week, and things were going great in his opinion, so why hasn’t he put a label on this yet?
He never took Bri out as often as three times a week in the eleven months he was with her, so maybe she was right about him not putting enough effort in with her, but that clearly changed with you. He didn’t want to be stuck inside anymore when he could instead be somewhere with you.
Bradley was still feeling a little guilty about allowing her to come over the other night, and that might have partly played into why he kissed you. He knew now that he wanted you, and knew he was going to stop wasting his time pining over a girl who only wanted him for his body and dick.
You were so different from her.
Bradley parked in the underground parking lot, and the whole drive here he had to pretend he didn’t notice the way you hadn’t pulled your hand out of his the entire time. Backing up with one hand was hard, but he didn’t want to be the first one to pull away. Maybe you were a sucker for physical touch like he was.
God, he hoped so.
You argued with him about buying your ticket, then dropped the attitude when he suggested that you pay for the drinks and popcorn. “This actually works out perfectly,” you hum as you take your drink and the tall bag of popcorn. “I paid for the garden, you paid for dinner, and now we’re equally paying for this.”
“I wouldn’t count me paying for dinner as anything,” he laughed as he tossed a bag of candy onto the counter after you had already paid for the drinks and popcorn. “Five Guys is so cheap.”
But you ignored his words as you glared at him, watching with squinted eyes as he pulled out his wallet. “Hey, I was supposed to pay for the snacks,”
Bradley just smirked and grabbed the bag of skittles. “I can’t have you paying for your own candy,” he said simply then laughed when you raised one brow. “Fine, we’ll share it.”
“I’ll pay you back,” you offered but he just shook his head and wrapped his arm around your shoulders, careful not to spill his drink on you.
“It’s like, four dollars worth of skittles,” he brushed off your words and guided you over to the ticket person, handing the guy both yours and his tickets. “I don’t think it’ll break me.”
“I just feel guilty when people pay for things for me all the time,” you say quietly as the guy pointed in the direction of the theater.
“Don’t,” he said just as quietly, pulling you along with him. “I don’t mind paying for things, babes. I have enough money to get me by for quite a while.” He didn’t want to go into too much detail of why he had a fair amount of money as he felt like bringing up the whole dead parents thing was a bit of a weird thing to announce before watching a movie that may include people getting brutally murdered.
You glanced up at him in a way that made you look so innocent, he wanted to kiss you right in the middle of the hall. “I like when you call me that,” you confess and he grins down at you, deciding to actually go for it now.
He leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to your lips, and he was still smiling when he pulled away. “Then I guess I’ll just have to keep calling you it,” he stated, watching as you blushed before ducking into the theater and booking it to your seat, leaving him to laugh as he followed after you.
Bradley had picked seats that were in the back row since you had told him that you preferred to not have anyone directly behind you, claiming that you’ve had your seat kicked one too many times now.
The more he found out about you, the more he wanted to know. You had all these cute characteristics and were so incredibly attractive to him, he was sure he would rather spend his time just talking with you than doing anything productive.
When he sat down next to you, he draped his arm over the back of your chair and leaned in to press a lingering kiss to your cheek. He had a feeling that it would make you blush again, and he was right.
Even in the dark room that was only lit up by the previews on the screen, he could see the way your face tinted with a blush, and the way you squirmed a bit. “You’re driving me crazy,” you whispered as someone came in and sat down a few seats away from you.
Bradley laughed and dropped the bag of skittles onto your lap, making you jump slightly. He would be lying if he said he didn’t love the way he was able to make you feel all flustered just by doing the smallest of things, like kissing your cheek. “Trust me,” he murmured. “The feeling is mutual.”
When the movie started, Bradley really couldn’t be blamed for not being able to pay much attention to it. He had, what could simply be described as his dream girl, right next to him and he had made you a blushing mess.
He was a bit annoyed that he hadn’t met you sooner, and he wondered how he had never seen you around campus before until this week. Surely he would’ve remembered you. As much as he didn’t want to admit it, the time he spent with Bri felt like a waste now that he knows he could’ve possibly been spending it with you.
Not even twenty minutes had passed since the movie began and Bradley had already lost interest. It seemed like you might have, too, since you had been not so subtly glancing over at him every now and then for the past five minutes.
The hand of his arm that was draped over your shoulder moved closer to your neck, and soon he was tangling his fingers in your hair. You shifted in your seat slightly, and the next time you looked over at him, he couldn’t stop himself from leaning down and kissing you.
You kiss him back almost instantly, as if you had been craving to do it as much as he was. Usually Bradley wasn’t into excessive displays of affection in public, but to be fair it was pretty dark in the theater, and the movie itself took place in a dark convent, so it’s not like anyone could see what you and he were doing.
And he couldn’t seem to keep his hands to himself right now. He’s been so into you since that night at the party, he didn’t know what to do with himself. You were giving him the impression that you were into him, too, and that was enough for now, but he knew it was only a matter of time until he wanted more.
He wanted you.
Bradley reached over with his free hand and gently gripped your jaw, angling your head so he could deepen the kiss that was quickly becoming too heated to be deemed acceptable in a public setting.
He wanted to take you out of here and back to his house, but he also didn’t want to rush things with you. He wanted to take his time.
Then you grabbed his wrist and placed his hand on your thigh before sliding it upwards, and he was prepared to ignore all of that.
You grab onto his shoulders then slide your hands up until they are tugging at his hair, and he swore he had never felt anything better than that. When you started biting down on his bottom lip, he knew he had to either pull away and keep his hands to himself, or take you right out of this theater before something happened. “Y/n,” he rasped when he pulled back, only able to get out the one word before you were kissing him again. He held onto your forearms and pulled away again after a few more seconds. “Let me take you out of here, baby.”
The look you gave him had him not even caring how desperate he sounded as you bit down on your lip and tugged at his sleeve. “Call me that again,”
Bradley was smirking now as he leaned over until he was well into your personal space. “Come on, baby,” he whispered right next to your ear, “Let’s get out of here.”
The moan you let out after that had his cock twitching with want, and you stood up quickly, grabbing your drink as you made a beeline towards the stairs. Bradley grabbed his own drink and the half eaten bag of popcorn, rolling the edges of it until it was closed, then he was practically running after you.
When he made it out into the hall, you were already halfway down it, but he was able to quickly catch up to you. He wrapped his arm around your middle and turned your body, leaving a chaste kiss to your mouth before he was guiding you back towards the stairwell that leads to the parking garage. “Should we wait for the elevator?” You asked as he pushed you up against the wall beside it, glancing up to see that the elevator was on the seventh floor.
You began placing kisses to his neck and jaw, and when you poke your tongue out and ran it along the scar on his throat, he huffed through a moan, “No, let’s take the stairs,”
Then he was pulling the door open and tugging you down the three floors with him, neither of you caring at all about the looks everyone gave you as you finally made it to the garage. Damn near everyone in that movie theater were given a free show of you and him not being able to take your hands off one another, as were the people in the lobby, and it just excited him more because he had never felt this worked up before. And he was just kissing you when it happened.
“Why did you have to park so far away?” You whined as you tried to keep up with him. “I’m dying here.”
Bradley let out a deep laugh before stopping abruptly. He turned around and picked you up before you could accidentally run into him, and you squealed when he threw you over his shoulder. “Problem solved,” he grunted as he resumed his fast pace towards the back of the garage.
“Bradley,” you laughed as you clung onto the back of his shirt.
“What? You were going too slow,” he smirked as he tightened his grip on the backs of your thighs. He finally made it to his Jeep not long after that, and he set you down and held your body close to his with one hand while he unlocked it with the other.
It was considered a miracle that he was somehow able to not spill his drink on you with just how handsy he was being. He tossed the bag of popcorn onto the passenger seat next to your hoodie then grabbed your drink and set both yours and his safely in the cupholders, turning to you with a smirk now that his hands were free.
Bradley grabbed hold of your waist and pulled your body close to his, connecting your lips in a deep kiss as he pressed you against the back door. His tongue slipped into your mouth and brushed against yours, and the strained moan you released had him bucking his hips. A string of saliva connected the two of you when he pulled away and murmured, “Come on,”
He got up onto the driver’s seat and pushed it all the way back before holding his hand out to you. He helps you up and slams the door once you are settled on his lap, then his lips are against yours again. Your hands tangle in his hair as his grip your waist, tugging your body so your chest is right up against his.
“The things you do to me,” he mumbled when you pulled away and began placing open mouthed kisses to his jaw and neck, focusing on the spot where the hickey Bri gave him was beginning to fade. “It’s not right, the way you make me feel.”
Your laugh against his neck had him grinning as he closed his eyes and leaned back. “How do I make you feel?” You asked, removing one hand from his hair and tracing the tip of your index finger along the scars on his cheek. “Do I make you feel excited? Overwhelmed? Maybe a bit nervous but in the best way? Because that’s how you make me feel, all the time.”
You whispered those last three words directly into his ear and Bradley groaned loudly. “Yeah,” he breathed out, guiding your body into a slow roll against his. “That’s exactly it.”
“Oh, God,” you moaned and it was probably the prettiest sound Bradley had ever heard in his life. Your hands find his shoulders again and twist his shirt as you take it upon yourself to grind your hips against his, tilting your head back and exposing your neck to him.
Bradley’s eyes dropped down to your throat, and he couldn’t stop himself from leaning in and pressing his lips to your soft skin. The feeling of your covered core rubbing against him was surreal and he felt himself getting more worked up. He wasn’t even properly feeling you, wasn’t even inside you and he still felt so fucking good.
When he pulled away from your neck, his eyes darkened at the hickey he left that surely would be hard to cover up later, but luckily it was the weekend. Though he didn’t really care much. He secretly wanted the other guys on campus to see it.
Each drag of your core had you moaning louder and louder, and Bradley wanted to make you feel like this all the time. “Feel good, baby?” He asked in a teasing tone, smirking at the whine you let out as you nod.
“Yes,” you whisper, leaning in to press your forehead against his. “Maybe it’s a good thing that you parked far away.”
A blush took over your face and it sounded like you were forcing yourself to be quieter, and Bradley didn’t like that. “I don’t care if someone hears us,” he rasped, bending one of his knees and grasping your hips tightly. You moan at his words, then moan even louder when he takes full control and bucks up against you.
“Fuck,” you gasped, clinging onto his shoulders.
Bradley had never done anything like this in public before, but he knew he couldn’t wait until he got you back home. He also didn’t want your first time together to be in the front seat of his Jeep as he thought you deserved something a bit more romantic than that, so it was kind of good that this was an on top of the clothes type of thing.
“You’re so pretty,” he groaned as you met his thrusts halfway. “Way too fucking pretty for me.”
You grip his jaw and press a searing kiss to his mouth, the back of his throat silencing your cries of pleasure as you get yourself off on top of him. “Bradley,” you moaned his name and he had to physically hold back a surprise release at just how hot you sounded. “I like you so much, it’s almost pathetic.”
How sweet you sounded when you were insulting yourself. “I like you, too,” he said back, kissing up the side of your neck until his lips met the skin below your ear. “Ever since that night at the party. I thought you looked so fucking good standing in my dining room.”
You bite your lip and dig your nails into his shoulders. “You saved me from being by myself that night,” you struggled to say as you quickened the grind of your hips. “I was ditched just minutes before you came up to me.”
Bradley still had no clue why Sam ditched you, then he remembered that she is related to your piece of shit ex, and it suddenly made sense. He thought back to that awful text Luke sent you when you had fallen asleep during your movie night, and he was appalled that he had the nerve to talk to you like that.
But he could get annoyed with your ex another time, not when you were currently rocking your hips into his and kissing along his nearly healed scars. “You’re gonna make me come,” you warned in a tone that should not have sounded so innocent given the circumstances.
“Yeah?” He grunted, also feeling himself get close. “You’re going to make me come, too.”
You grin down at him and kiss his lips as you give a few more rolls of your hips before you tense up against him and release a string of loud, whiny moans. “Fuck,” you stuttered above him, twisting his hair in between your fingers as you came.
As you were coming down, you never stopped rubbing yourself against him, and not long after Bradley was coming, too. He dropped his head onto your shoulder as he let out deep and breathy groans, feeling his release coat himself in his boxers and jeans. “Jesus Christ,” he muttered as you finally stopped and let out a small laugh.
Your hands trailed through his hair as you both tried to regain control over your breathing. “Did you..” you trailed off as if you were embarrassed to ask him if he came or not.
It was almost comical since you had just given him what he thinks was the best orgasm of his life, and he never once penetrated you. All his past times with Bri felt like a bit of a joke now that he knew how good you felt, even fully clothed. “Yeah,” he answered, watching as a proud smile formed on your lips. Bradley leaned in and pressed a much more gentle kiss to your mouth, his hands coming up to smooth out your hair. “Sorry we didn’t get to watch much of the movie.”
Then it dawned on him that you and he left not even halfway through a movie about nuns and celibacy to go hook up in his car, and he had to hold back a laugh of disbelief.
You huffed as you shook your head, laughing afterwards. “It’s okay. I wasn’t really paying much attention to it anyway,”
“Me either,” he replied and you laughed again, hesitantly moving off him and crawling over to the passenger seat.
Bradley watched your every move, and when your eyes trailed down to his lap, you quickly covered your mouth with your hand. “Oh, my God, I’m sorry,” you gasp, making him furrow his brows in confusion before he looked down and noticed the wet spot on his thigh.
“Don’t be sorry,” he waved you off, not caring a single bit at the dampness on his jeans, but you seemed to be mortified.
“I’m embarrassed now,” you murmur and cover your face.
“Don’t be,” he said again, reaching over and taking your wrist in his hand. “I mean it. That was so fucking hot, and I already couldn’t stop thinking about you before. This definitely won’t help.”
That seemed to make you feel a little better as you slumped against the seat and gazed over at him. “I don’t want this night to end yet,” you confessed quietly.
Bradley slid his hand along your arm until his fingers were laced with yours. “I don’t, either,” he mumbled. “It’s still early. Why don’t we just sit here and talk?” His offer reminded him of the conversation he had with you that night Bri came over and nearly ruined his whole day. Then you called him and made things better, and he found out just how much he likes talking to you - though it was pretty obvious before.
“Okay,” you agreed, smiling over at him as you got into a more comfortable position, still keeping your hand locked with his. “Let’s play that question game again.”
“Okay,” he laughed, leaning back as well. “What’s your favorite holiday?”
“I love Christmas,” you answer. “It’s like the one time my family actually puts in an effort to spend time together.”
Funnily enough, that was one of the reasons Bradley didn’t like Christmas. He didn’t have a whole lot of family left, and the one person who was a constant in his life wasn’t a big fan of the holiday either. “You guys aren’t close?” He asked and you shook your head.
“Not really. My parents and I are close, but my sister and I haven’t really talked much since I came here,” you shrug and look over at him. “What about you? Does your family go all out for Christmas? Or is it a once a year type thing like mine?”
Bradley smiled and looked down at your joined hands. “I don’t really celebrate Christmas that much anymore,” he murmured, stroking the back of your hand with his thumb. “I loved it as a kid, but now it just feels like a memory.”
Your face scrunches up in confusion. “What do you mean?”
Oh, God, was he really about to willingly have the dead parents conversation right now? Right after you and he just got each other off in a fucking parking garage? “Um,” he trailed off, looking at the various cars around. “Well…I don’t really have anyone to celebrate it with.”
He looked back over at you when you sat up and gave him your full attention, and he knew there really was no reason why he couldn’t just get this topic over with.
“My dad, he…died when I was really young, so I don’t really remember much of him,” he mumbled, feeling the way your grip on his hand tightened just slightly. He brought it up to his mouth and pressed a kiss to your knuckles before continuing, “And my mom died when I was still in high school, so the only person I really have is my uncle, and even he is hardly around anymore.”
There it was. His depressing as fuck backstory.
“Bradley,” you say quietly. “I don’t know what to say.”
He shook his head and gave you a small smile, reaching over with his free hand and running his fingers along your jaw. “It’s okay, you don’t have to say anything,”
You frown and press the back of his hand against your cheek. “I’m sorry,” you whisper and he shakes his head again.
“It’s okay, really,” he brushed off your words. “I can talk about this stuff more now without getting too upset. I mean, there’s nothing I can do about it, so that kinda makes it easier to talk about it.”
You nod and kiss along his knuckles. “Hey, I never did ask about what you wanted to do once you graduate,”
“Join the Navy,” he answered as if it was the easiest question he’d ever been asked. “Like my old man.”
“The Navy?” You echoed and sat up. “What, like, the Marines?”
“No, the Air Force,”
Your eyes widened at that, “You want to fly planes? Like, aviation?”
“Well, fighter jets,” he corrected with a laugh. “But yeah, I wanna fly planes.”
“Wow,” you trailed off, looking out the front window for a few seconds before glancing at him with a teasing glint in your eyes. “What do you want your call sign to be, flyboy?”
He grinned and shrugged. “I don’t really know. Maybe some kind of bird like my dad,”
“What was your dad called?”
For some reason you were super interested in his life, and he actually appreciated it more than he thought he would. “His call sign was Goose,”
“Goose,” you repeated the name with a small smile. “You should be…Duck. Your call sign should be Duck.”
“Duck?” He laughed and shook his head. “No, absolutely not.”
“Oh, come on, that’s a good one,” you laughed, too, somehow able to effortlessly turn a dark and depressing conversation into a much lighter one. “Fine. How ‘bout…Rooster.”
That one actually didn’t sound too bad, and it had the double ‘o’ like Goose. “Rooster,” he tried it out for himself. “Okay, that’s not terrible.”
“It’s settled then,” you state and lean back. “Your call sign will be Rooster.”
Bradley watched as you kissed the back of his hand before pulling yours out of it in order to open the popcorn bag. He was glad you knew about his parents now, as he wasn’t sure how awkward it would be to bring up later.
“What is your favorite holiday?” You asked as you dug around in the bag.
“Um, Halloween,” he replied and opened his mouth when you held a few pieces of popcorn up to his lips. “What was one subject in school that you just…fucking hated?”
You laugh and set the bag in between the two of you. “I was really bad at science subjects,” you mumble. “Like, really bad. I passed Chemistry with a 52.”
Bradley tried to hold back a laugh and brought his drink up to his mouth. “Well, Chemistry is pretty hard,” he offered, then couldn’t help but say, “But yeah, a 52 is pretty bad.”
You glare over at him but the smile on your lips told him that he didn’t offend you. “I’m aware,”
When Bradley was forced to drive you back to your place a little while later, he kept his hand on your thigh the whole time. He wasn’t kidding. He couldn’t stop thinking about you before he got you off in his front seat, and it would only be harder to after this.
“You know, we need to stop having so much fun every time we see each other,” you mumbled once he parked outside your dorm. “Sooner or later I’ll start expecting it.”
“What, having fun with me?” He teased, reaching over to tuck your hair behind your ear. “Trust me, babes, you’ll have fun all the time as long as you’re with me.”
You grin over at him, “I’ll hold you to that,”
Then you were leaning over the center console and pressing a deep kiss to his mouth. One that had him shamelessly groaning and wishing that you would invite him in with you, but he was also trying to remind himself that he wanted to take his time with you and not rush into things. “Have a good weekend,” he muttered when he pulled away. “I’ll be thinking about you nonstop, I’m sure.”
You blush and reach for the door handle. “The feeling is mutual,” you whisper, then get out of the car and make your way inside, leaving Bradley to wait until he felt like he had enough control over himself to be able to drive back to his place.

You and Suguru were almost like a couple who had been married for seven years. Almost, because first you were teenagers, and second you two weren’t even in a relationship. You were part of the same friend group, spending a lot of time together with the rest of the group ; but you were always glued to each other. It was like you both would die if you haven’t had any physical touch.
Today was no exception. You were sitting in a cafe with Suguru, Shoko and Satoru, talking about a lot of different things. Suguru was sitting next to you, playing with your fingers while your hand was resting on his arm. Nobody was reacting anymore, it was usual. Both of your friends were well aware of the feelings you had for each other, even if none of you seemed ready to admit it to the other.
Suguru came closer to your ear, whispering something that made you chuckle slightly. Satoru and Shoko exchanged a look, before they both rolled their eyes. It was always like this, and they started to get tired of it. The look they exchanged meant one thing: at the end of the day, you and Suguru would be together.
They really took their mission at heart, the hardest thing being to separate you two so they could talk to you in private. Shoko claimed an excuse about needing your opinion on something, bringing you away from the boys, leaving the two best friends alone in the street. Satoru turned around to face Suguru, looking from above his glasses with a smirk on his lips.
“Sooooo, about you and her?” he said, not even trying to hide what he wanted to do. Suguru looked at him with a frown, apparently not understanding what he was implying. Satoru couldn’t believe it ; he seriously didn’t realize? It must have been a joke.
“You’re being serious right now? Everyone thinks that you are together!” Suguru opened his eyes wide, and he quickly looked away, feeling the top of his ears burning slightly. “For real? But like, we’re just-” Satoru sighed heavily, not letting him finish his sentence. “You’re not. I know how girls work, and she’s thinking about being more than friends!” His words left Suguru perplexed, lost in his mind.
At the same time, Shoko was still bringing you away from the boys. She finally stopped after a few moments, and you looked at her, waiting for an explanation. “I needed to talk to you, and I don’t want them to hear us,” she said with a grin, and you slowly shook your head. She should have told you, you wouldn’t have hesitated to follow her.
“What’s wrong?” you asked, and Shoko’s smile widened so very slightly. “I wanted to talk about you and Suguru. Are you guys hiding anything from us?” You seemed a bit surprised by her words, not getting what she meant. “What? No! We’re friends, just as always.” Shoko sighed, shaking her head. “You’re lying to yourself girl. No boy is this clingy to a simple friend.” And with those words, she left you alone with your thoughts.
At the end of the day, you and Suguru were walking alone to get back to the dorm ; Satoru and Shoko apparently had something else to do. You were both pretty silent, which was unusual. You always had so many things to talk about, and the mood seemed off. You finally decided to break the silence with a sigh, turning your head to Suguru next to you.
“Do you think that we are more than friends?” you finally asked after gathering all your strength. Suguru looked at you, a bit surprised to notice that you were silent for the same reason as him. “Do you think that we are?” he answered, and you both stopped to walk. You stayed like this, looking into each other's eyes without saying a word. All your memories together seemed to come back, making you realize what was happening.
You quickly looked away, feeling a blush over your cheeks ; and Suguru felt his heart racing in his chest. He never realized how you made him feel before, but now that he was thinking about it: you were always creating a mess inside of his heart. He softly grabbed your hand, leaving a kiss on its back before looking back at you.
“I think that… No, I know. I love you,” he smiled softly and you felt your knees getting weaker, “I have been for quite a while now.” You grabbed his hand, a bit hesitant, before your grip tightened slightly. You weren’t looking at him, feeling like you were going to explode. “I love you too,” you finally answered, almost in a whisper.
Suguru’s eyes shined bright, and his smile widened a bit. He brought you closer to him so he could hug you. He hid his nose in your hair, eyes closed as he let your perfume take his mind away from here. Your hands rested on his back, and you felt your heart becoming lighter. It was like you needed this for a long time, and you were finally feeling complete.
Shoko and Satoru were looking at you from behind a bush. They giggled when they saw you two hugging, high fiving each other in silence, proud of what they had done. Seeing you accepting your feelings for each other was a real accomplishment for them.

“You Just Have to Copy Everything I Do”
Art x Patrick x Reader
Summary: Patrick finds out some big news and looks to his best friend for advice.
Dad!Art + Dad!Patrick
Tumblr media
A lot had happened since Lily was born it had been about five months. Patrick had purposed to y/f/n last month. It was soon but when he knows something he knows it. Patrick was crazy about her. You and art also loved her of course. The four of you would often spend time together, go on double dates or hang out at your house, they both adored Lily, you couldn’t blame them.
Tonight you had a little get together planned with Patrick and his fiancé just dinner and maybe a card game or a movie after Lily was down for the night. Art was finishing getting Lily I’m her pajamas and rocking her to sleep when you heard the doorbell ring, it was a little early but you didn’t mind you went to answer but it was only Patrick. A pale distressed looking Patrick, leaning against the doorframe. Before you could say anything he opened his mouth
“Hey, Um can I talk to Art?” He said a little shaken up. You didn’t ask any questions you just hoped he was okay this was weird
“Yeah he’s with Lily let me go grab him” you said
“Wait I mean if he’s putting her to bed I can jus-“
“Patrick it’s okay I’ll go get him.” You smiled, you knew this was serious, you could finish your daughters night routine.
You walked into the nursery and saw Art in the rocking chair with Lily fast asleep in his arms with a blanket and her pacifier.
“Babe Patrick’s here he needs to talk to you.” You whispered to not wake the baby
“He can wait a minute” Art said looking down at his daughter peacefully. This was Arts version of heaven
“Art you should go now I think he needs you” you told him, Art looked up then got the message. Standing up taking Lily with him
“Alright but I’m taking my baby with. We didn’t get our full cuddle time” he said leaving the room quickly kissing you in passing as you chucked at him.
Art came out into the dimly lit living room where Patrick was sitting.
“This better be good” Art said sitting across from his best friend, adjusting Lily so she was laying in his arms. He expected Patrick to say something stupid
“She’s pregnant.” He said immediately staring at the wall. Arts mouth opened in shock
“Y/f/n?” He asked knowing the answer. Patrick nodded slowly
“And are you guys… happy?” Art carefully asked a little shocked. Patrick looked at Art then Lily then back at Art, he waited a minute
“I don’t know. We’re getting married, and I love her. I really love her. I just- I don’t-“ he tried to find the words but couldn’t
“Your terrified.” Art finished
“Yeah. I mean we talked about having kids in the future but I didn’t think it would be right now” Patrick breathed out “we aren’t married we don’t have a house we haven’t talked about what to do when the baby is born” Patrick fell back leaning on the couch his hand on his eyes
“You guys will figure it out. Pat you’ve never really been a traditional guy and you love her and she loves you that’s all that really matters. As long as you have each other’s backs it will be fine” Art told him
“I don’t want to mess this up Art. She’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me you know? “
“Yeah I do. It’s scary. I know it was a little different with me and y/n but Jesus Patrick I was scared shitless” Art said letting out a small laugh thinking back on the time he first found out he was gonna be a dad.
“Are you still scared?” Patrick asked looking at the sleeping baby
“Cmon of course I’m still scared. Everyday. But Patrick trust me it’s all worth it, when they look at you and grab your finger, it’s like nothing else matters. It’s scary but you figure it out as you go. Just the other day Lily had a cold and we had no idea what to do. We had to call my mom and she almost flew in because we were so freaked out… I know you don’t have the best relationship with your parents but me and y/n are right here. We’ve already done this we can help.” He told his best friend meaning every word. Patrick smiled at Art “I’ve known you forever and I know your gonna be fine. You’ll be a great dad Pat… mabye not as good as me but good.” He joked making Patrick chuckle.
“Thanks man.”
“You know this will kind of be fun our kids can be best friends and grow up together now.” Art said relizing that this might just be perfect.
“Yeah I guess so. Lilys gonna have a new best friend pretty soon” Patrick smiled looking at his niece. Patrick stood up and Art followed
“You just have to copy everything I do don’t you Zweig” Art smirked. Patrick rolled his eyes smiling.
“I gotta get back to y/f/n.” Patrick said heading for the door.
“Yeah remember it’s scary for you but it’s a lot more scary for her” Art told Patrick, patrick agreed then left Arts house. Art smiled to himself thinking about how much he and his friend had grown up, now they were both gonna have kids. He didn’t know if Patrick would settle down but now he’s having a baby and getting married. Art looked at Lily and laughed a little
“Uncle Patrick is giving you a friend champ, can you believe it” he kissed Lily’s head and brought her to her crib.

HI!!!1! do u have any jelle headcanons ?1!?cuz I’ve been going insane and need more content to fuel my madness.. 🤫
Yes! I’ve been thinking about them a lot lately, so yes!
Elle is a lesbian, and JJ is bi.
Elle was the first woman JJ had a relationship with.
JJ impulsively kissed Elle during a case, then apologized, saying that she didn’t know why she did that. Elle kissed her again and said it was okay.
They started seeing each other in secret after that. JJ wasn’t ready, and Elle was okay with that.
They didn’t hang out much outside work (because they spent so much time together during work. And even though what they had wasn’t too serious, they made little date nights when they shared hotel rooms and had to stay another night after closing cases.
After the scene where Derek (I think it was him) asks if she has a boyfriend, and then JJ joins, JJ definitely teased Elle about it later. Elle called JJ her boyfriend as a joke and she blushed so much. (I hope this one makes sense)
After Elle was shot, JJ spent a lot of time with her in the hospital until she was discharged. She even stayed with her for a couple of nights.
JJ also spent some nights with her after everything happened because she didn’t want Elle to be alone.
Elle wrote JJ a letter before leaving, telling her she was sorry but she needed to go and that she hoped JJ could understand. The letter was the first time she told JJ she loved her, but she had been too afraid before that.
JJ kept that letter for years, even after she married Will. She sometimes read it all over again when she missed Elle.
JJ wrote a letter to Elle but just kept it for herself.
They met again after a case. JJ saw her in a bar. They talked and started a relationship again. (This is just like my fic Sailor Song because I love it, and it is basically some of my Jelle headcanons but in a fic.)
After that, JJ felt like she didn’t have to hold on to that letter anymore. Elle was there to tell her she loved her.
Michael started to call Elle “Ellie” a few months after she met him and Henry. Elle would only let him (and Henry if he wanted to) call her that.
Elle and JJ got married in the spring. It wasn’t anything big, as long as the kids were there, they were happy.
A few months after the wedding, Michael started calling Elle Mama. At first, it made Elle kind of nervous, but she got used to it pretty quickly and loved it. Henry stuck to calling Elle, and she was totally fine with that, too.
Once, when Henry was sick, and JJ was out on a case, Elle took care of him, and he called her Mama for the first time. She was Mama for both of them ever since.
JJ’s Instagram could be confused with a fan page of Elle and the kids. Elle’s, too.
These are the ones I could think about right now, but I’m sure in about 30 minutes I’ll think about more, so if I get stuck on writing my fics, I might make a part 2 of this. Also, some of them are going to be in the second chapter of Sailor Song.
I haven’t forgotten about the ask about the Elle headcanons, I swear, but I just haven’t gotten around to writing them yet, but I will (someday).

Enji and Anastasia Pt 1
18+
Tumblr media
Endeavor-Enji Todoroki x female reader
Uh embarrassing but I’ve had a bit of an obsession with Endeavor recently…he’s my guilty pleasure at the moment. I think I’ve read about every fic of his that already exists… I’m starved and thirsty so I decided to write one of my own.
Side notes:
1. I’m not a writer. I haven’t wrote fan fic before. This is my first time using tumblr as well as my first post to tumblr. So bear with me if this isn’t the best!
2. I’m not defending his past actions if you do not like him please scroll. Unfortunately I do have a thing for hot abusive men let me cope in my own ways thank you. 🙏
3. Reader notes. Size difference, age difference, submissive girl, dominate man, slight smut, more smut in future parts
To see all my future Enji/Endeavor stories (and this one) search the hashtag #enjiaria
ENJI TODOROKI X FEM READER 18+
Enji and Anastasia’s love story Pt 1
Enji is 35 and single. He is currently the number 2 hero. He owns his own endeavor hero agency. Never married no children. Never been in a serious relationship too busy focusing on becoming number 1. He runs into you at the grocery store when he’s out of uniform getting things to make udon. You’re both looking for the same ingredients and accdiently bump into eachother at the same time. He only bumps into you because he got too distracted by your beauty too focus on where he was going. Hes never seen anyone like you. Olive golden skin, almost black hair that reaches your knees, amber eyes. He was captivated. You on the other hand were always in your own world and too focused on what ingredient you needed next to focus on what was in front of you. Then boom you both collide. He’s about 14 inches taller than you and his thigh is basically bigger than your entire torso, he’s already naturally big and strong, you being small and weak, he ends up causing all of your food to fall to the ground when you both bump into each other. He quickly kneels down to help you pick up your fallen groceries luckily nothing was broken. He silently feels guilty not fully knowing his own strength but knowing he was still stronger than most people he felt bad knowing his bump probably hurt you. Especially since it caused you to fall to the ground. Just as he was about to apologize you quickly did first catching him off guard.
“I’m s-sorry I wasn’t looking where I was going I didn’t mean to trouble you. You don’t have to help me”
You say not looking at his face yet being too busy trying to swiftly pick up your groceries instead.
Enji
“No, it was my fault. I’m sorry. I was too focused on my udon ingredients I wasn’t looking where I was going. Are you alright?”
You
“Oh I’m making udon too! I’m alright sir-“
You’ve both finished putting the groceries back in your basket. As you reply you look up to his face finally and get caught off guard. You almost forget how to speak you have to cut off your sentence. He’s…he’s stunning. You’ve never been the one for crushes or relationships. Or any relationship at all in fact you’ve always been single. Never kissed, held hands nothing. Far too busy in your own world to worry about any of that after all you were only 21 you never thought it was a big deal anyways. B-but with him he’s the only man that’s ever caught your eye. His hair, his eyes, the color. His sculpted face…body..beautiful. It was only now that you also realized how big, muscular, and tall he was you couldn’t help but wonder how nice cuddling him would be in the winter. You were lost in gazing at him for so long you realize you must have looked so awkward pausing for so long. Enji notices your long pause but doesn’t mind he takes this time to admire you back. He doesn’t want to seem too obvious no but god he can’t help but stare at your lips every second you speak. He thinks the long pause must be anxiety after all he is Endeavor. He gently grabs your hand and basket and brings you both back up from the grocery store floor. Little does he know you actually have no idea what Endeavor actually looks like. You’ve heard of him many times before but never actually cared enough to know what he ooked like it wasn’t your style.
You
“Thank you for helping me. Good luck with your udon sir.”
Enji
“Thanks, I’m Enji. What flavor are you making?”
*shakes your hand as he introduces himself*
Now that you’re both standing he can tell you don’t recognize him as Endeavor. Either that or you don’t care. He decides to take a risk and introduce himself. He can’t help it.
You
“Oh hi. Enjis a cute name, I’m Anastasia. I’m making Kimchi udon! What about you?”
Enji thinks to himself, god even her name is beautiful the other girls in Japan are nothing like this.
Enji “f-fish udon. T-that’s a beautiful name”
Enji says flustered not knowing how to keep up the conversation. He’s never done this before. Usually he was just fucking girls who fawned over him being endeavor. Or when he was younger he easily got layed by any girl he pleased after a rumor went around that he had a huge cock. The rumor was started by the girl he lost his virginity to. His best friends sister. The rumor was true. That..that was easy but actually flirting liking someone for more than just wanting them in bed once..that he had no idea how to do.
You glance at your watch and notice how late it’s gotten. Ugh you still haven’t even gotten home and made your udon. You’re starting at a new job early tomorrow. You want nothing more than to admire this beautiful man forever but you know the new job is demanding and you won’t have time for a relantionship. Plus your life is far too stressful already to start your very FIRST relationship at 21..no no that’s just too much. You admire his big hands, the way his black long sleeve shirt hugs his body, his height, his deep voice, calming eyes, sculpted face, and bright red hair once more before saying goodbye.
You
“Sorry I start a new job tomorrow early. I really have to go but thank you for helping me! Have fun with your udon Enji. Nice meeting you! If you ever spill my groceries again say hi!”
You run to the checkout.
Enji stands there a moment admiring you run off to the checkout. To be honest he was far too captivated by your face and hair at first to notice your body. But now that you’re running away oh my. He admires how small and delicate your hands are gripping the grocery basket he wonders what they’d look like around h-…no he had to get that thought out before he went mad. He shamelessly gazed at your small chest, slim waist, and surprisingly big behind for someone so slim in other areas. He loved how your body looked so seductive yet so innocent at the same time. The way ..ugh everything about you was just driving him crazy. Ultimately he knew he’d never been in a real relationship before and was too busy trying to be number one. Plus he was too nervous to even ask for you number. He decided to try to flush you out of his mind..not immediately…maybe after tonight or tomorrow morning so he could focus on work. He went home and went straight to the couch pulling down his pants. Completely ignoring the udon for now. He gripped his cock. It was painful and throbbing. He started to stroke it to the thought of you. He’d never been so infatuated romantically and sensually by someone at the same time. He wanted to make you smile and hold you in his arms yet he also wanted to make you cry on his cock and grip your throat with his hands. God the thought of you was driving him mad. Making him drip more precum than ever before. He’d never touched himself to the thought of one specific woman before. Usually if he was horny he would just call some random woman up and they’d be there in an instant then he’d immediately have his way with them until he filled them with his load making them unable to think of anything else but him. But you..you were so different. He loved how young and delicate you looked compared to him. He wanted to make you cum, stretch you out on his tongue, fingers, the thought of your little body stretching on just his tip was enough to send him over the edge. He came just to the thought of that alone. He immediately cleaned himself up and started preparing his udon. Trying to do anything he could to get you out of his mind especially since he didn’t think he’d ever see you again.
Little did he know you were starting at the Endeavor agency tomorrow. Tsk tsk that was indeed the early job you were starting tomorrow. You’d be running into Enji a lot but this time as Endeavor.
Art and writing had always been your passion you submitted some short stories and art to a bunch of agencies and got hired at Endeavors! He read your submission himself and really liked your writing style he figured you’d be good at making him look well to the public. He needed people to start liking him more if he was going to be number 1. Plus your art, it was unlike any art he’d ever seen before. It was nice, new, hip, yet classy and talented. Impressive. He figured you’d make good merch designs and logos for his company. He wanted a younger touch. He was always a bit of an old soul, he saw on your submission that you were 21. He figured a young touch would be good for the company plus you are also young enough that he figured you would be able to stay at the company for a very long time unlike all the other members who are nearing retirement already.
You work at his agency the next day

2, 3, 9, 10, 15, 16, 23 for Ophelia, Rae, and Jasper?
Ooooh thank you so much!!
OC Ask Game Time
2) Will they have any children? What are their names?
Ophelia: Probably not. She's never really been interested in becoming a parent.
Rae: Yes! She'll have a daughter named April and a son named August
Jasper: I'm not sure. It's not really on their plan at the moment, but I could see them and Kyle potentially adopting children further down the line.
3) When is your OC’s birthday or what is their zodiac sign if you haven’t picked a date yet? Answer both if you wish.
Ophelia: November 13th
Rae: December 6th
Jasper: October 30th
I don't really do zodiac signs so I wouldn't go looking for any significance there, I really just picked the dates at random save for intentionally making Jasper's the day before Halloween
9) What is your OC’s greatest wish/dream/goals?
Ophelia: She wants to feel like she's accomplished something meaningful in her life, and made her family proud
Rae: She wants to find happiness and safety without having to compromise the things or people she loves
Jasper: They want to help people, above all else.
10) Does your OC have a family tree? Who are their immediate and extended family if you created ones?
Ophelia: She doesn't have an extensive family tree - she's an only child, and isn't in contact with much of her extended family save for her father's mom (her Nonna). Neither side of her family particularly likes the other (her mom's parents always thought she could do better than a struggling scientist and didn't approve of his background, and her dad's parents were neglectful and abusive and he effectively jumped ship from that as soon as he could), so her immediate family really became its own little bubble. She definitely found a family in her father's friends and colleagues, though!
Rae: I haven't drawn it out into a tree, but she does have a very big family. She has two sisters, Jess and Ginny. Jess is married to a man named Harrison and has a son named Andrew, Ginny is currently single and working her way through uni. She's also got a lot of cousins and extended family members back in her hometown of Lochcarron, and sees them every year at a big New Year's Day reunion. Her dad's line of the family goes back in Lochcarron a long way - stemming from twin feral mutants who helped build most of the town with their bare hands when it was first created as a mutant settlement. Her mom's side of the family is originally from Edinburgh, though her grandmother divorced her first husband and fled to Lochcarron where she met Rae's grandfather. Her parents both grew up in town, only a few streets down from each other.
Jasper: I don't have a huge family tree for Jasper either, just a few threads. Their father's name is John Abraham Wilson, and he's one of five children. Jasper's mother Carmine doesn't talk about her family much - Jasper has heard vaguely of an aunt on that side, but they've been estranged since Carmine was in college so Jasper doesn't know much of anything about her. They grew up in close contact with their dad's siblings and all their cousins on that side of the family, but their mom's side of the family is still a big blank patch.
15) Has your OC ever fallen in love before who their intended love interest is, or is the intended love interest their first love?
Ophelia: Oh, she's a hopeless romantic. She's had a lot of past relationships and loved just about all of them, and it's usually ended in some form of tragedy for her. It's led her to worry her relationship with Peter will somehow fall apart like the rest, though she knows that's largely irrational.
Rae: Hm... bit of both? She's dated before, and some of those relationships got pretty serious, but what she has with Warren is on a whole different level. At the risk of sounding cheesy, I think she thought she'd fallen in love before, but it pales in comparison to what she feels for Warren and she didn't realize that until she met him.
Jasper: Kyle is their first love! They'd gone on a few dates here and there before him, but he's their first serious relationship and they fell hard.
16) Does your OC enjoy school or no? Did they get any education?
Ophelia: I'd say she enjoyed learning but didn't enjoy school. For one thing, she was an awkward, tall and curvy Jewish girl, and that definitely led to her being picked on a bit in grade school. And for another, it was hard to find a class that really challenged her, so school as a whole was just boring. As far as education, she has a Bachelor's in Medicine, and both a Master's and PhD in Biomedical Engineering.
Rae: She actually struggled a bit in school. She loved her foreign language classes and could have easily spent all her schooling just doing that, but when it came to other subjects, she just couldn't focus. Sometimes she'd even fall asleep in class, though that was mainly because her insomnia kept her up too late the night before. It was a very mixed bag for her. As far as education, she has a Master's in Foreign Language and has studied a whole host of various world languages.
Jasper: As a whole, they really did enjoy school. They struggled sometimes with particular teachers, classes, or issues with other classmates, but school as a whole was never an issue for them. As far as education, they got a degree in nursing and ended becoming an ER trauma nurse.
23) Is your OC religious and what religion? If it’s a fictional religion for your story please give a summary of the core teachings of their faith?
Ophelia: Yep! She was raised Jewish, and tries to subscribe to as many of those tenets as she can. She struggles with observing the Shabbat (since her life is so bound up with technology and she struggles to step away from her work), and doesn't feel like her tattoo should be considered "self-mutilation", but aside from that she sticks with as many of the traditions and practices as she can. Her faith was actually one of the things that helped her through the rough patches in her life.
Rae: She was raised vaguely Protestant and probably does believe in a generally Christian God, but she's not strongly religious and neither is the rest of her family.
Jasper: Not really religious or spiritual at all, save for keeping up few old Cajun superstitions they were raised into.

hai! heard u had comms open. If i got it right,do you have any hcs about anhane?
Anhane ↣ꨄ
MY FIRST REQ!! And yeah, ofc I do :]! Thank you for requesting this, aun-muaq!
This might be a bit OOC cuz I haven’t really read up on the most recent VBS story (on EN), so I‘m truly sorry if something is incorrect! :[
Also I did. this before going to sleep lmao
☆ To start off, let‘s talk about Nicknames! I feel like they‘d either have the cutest or most CORNIEST nicknames for each other, no in between
☆ An would call Kohane: Kohammy, Babygirl, Honey, Sweetiepie and My SUPER TALENTED SINGER AMAZING DANCER AMAZING GIRL WHO IS ALSO THE CUTEST AND MOST BADASS AND PRETTIEST AND KINDEST SUPER SWEET GIRLFRIEND
☆ I‘d like to think Kohane is more normal (but also cornier) about the nicknames she gives An, such as: My Inspiration, My Love, My Darling, My Angel and My Really cool girlfriend who‘s as bright as a star and amazing girlfriend who I really love a lot and hope to marry her someday she‘s so pretty and cool and I love her so much.
☆ I feel like they both are SO whipped over each other, like notice how I gave both of them at the end a little swooning for each other? I feel like that would be them when they‘re not with each other and would unknowingly start talking about each other.
☆ I feel like An is a night owl despite being so energetic during the day, so I believe that in the nights, when they‘re cuddling with each other, Kohane usually dozes off as An rambles to her about who knows what!
☆ THEY‘D WEAR MATCHING HANDMADE EARRINGS !!! I WILL ACTUALLY DIE AND DISAPPEAR ON THIS HILL!!!
☆ if they‘re in each others vicinity, they‘re holding hands, no telling my differently. The only time they aren’t holding hands together is when one or both of them is/are carrying too many things.
☆ Kohane can crochet and with that magical ability, she crochets cute gifts for An, such as plushies, or hand mittens, or a winter hat, or another plushie and the list goes on!
☆ As for An, who‘s on the receiving end, she always proudly displays any work Kohane gifts her. Cold winter day? No worries! This scarf will keep me warm! See a cold little kitty? That‘s her kitty now and she‘s keeping it warm with one of Kohane‘s mini sweaters and with one of Kohane‘s mittens.
☆ Talking about Stray cats, if An and Kohane ever moved in with each other, I feel like they‘d keep bringing home any stray they catch even the slightest glimpse of in the streets!
☆ Lowkey they‘d at least have 3 cats; Princess Pickles, Nuclear Bomb and Tom (yes I‘m serious about these exact names)
☆ Though, despite being so whipped for each other, I definitely do think they‘d want to keep their relationship private from the public and only let their friends know.
☆ They both constantly get/make gifts for each other, they definitely have a whole organized pile from gifts of each other.

Dancing (Markiplier x fem!reader)
You and Mark have... a weird history. And it finally comes to a boil at your friends’ bridal party. Lots and LOTS of sexual tension, fluffy ending. (This was really out of my comfort zone and I'm kinda unsure about it but this concept was TAUNTING my brain so I had to write it LMAO)
It’s the night of your friend’s bachelor party. Well, really an entire bridal group party. You’ve known the couple about to get married for years now, and they hated the whole ‘gendered parties thing,’ and they also hated the idea of being left out of any festivities. This entire group of people you knew, were the work hard and play even harder type, and so are you. Successful, living it up in New York, it’s not often you make a trip all the way to Cali. You were putting the final touches on your look, earrings, a reapplication of your lipstick to make sure nothing rubbed off, and you were ready to go. The hotel was nice: a large bed, a nice view, a huge bathroom. After all, you always booked the best. Before you went to put your shoes on, your phone buzzed.
“Mark’s going btw.”
It was the bride-to-be, giving you some information you wish you had hours earlier. You see, you and Mark have a complicated relationship. You’ve vaguely and yet intimately known each other for years, having met at some party one of your friends threw. No one throws you off your game, but Mark gets close. Over the past couple years, you’ve kept in touch, occasionally seeing each other at events and getting a little sloppy on the dance floor, ignoring each other across the room, leaving with other people just to get under each other’s skin, the list goes on and on. Since you live across the country you text and call sometimes, either some SOS in the middle of the night when one of you isn’t doing too hot or pictures of your hookups just to push the envelope a little further. You’re not sure why you hadn’t considered the fact that he would be at this party, as your social groups in California often overlap.
“Okay.”
A simple response despite a complex array of things going on in your mind. Between you two it’s always games, dancing around each other and yet never quite fitting together. You’ve even been in videos a couple times, and the fans get a little rabid. Of course, you’re much more civil out of the nightlife scene, but they still pick up on the tension.
‘So… when are they gonna kiss?’
‘OMFG please have her in more videos.’
‘Maybe they should get a room.’
The comments flood anything you feature in, and you two just ignore them. It adds to the game, having some kind of audience. Funnily enough, the two of you haven’t ever kissed, never done anything more than get a little handsy, and yet it was exhilarating, wondering when you’d see each other again. Perhaps it was a little twisted, but you both were having fun. And yet, since you met, neither of you has had a serious relationship. You two are the only constant in each other’s lives.
You finally stop thinking and leave the hotel room, quickly leaving with a personal driver. In the back of the car, you take out your phone for a quick snap of your look, sending it to Mark shortly after, saying nothing more. You read the ‘seen’ and then put your phone on silent, and quickly place it back in your bag. You’re lucky your friend texted you, because you have an upper hand on the night now. Sure, the night was supposed to be about the couple, but they knew what they were doing by inviting both of you. It was going to be fun to watch, for all parties involved.
After about a thirty-minute drive you arrived. The location was new, and very popular, and they bought it out for the night. The concept was some kind of nightclub/mock bar mix, where they only sold mocktails (with the occasional medicinal addition). Funnily enough, you and Mark had nothing added to your drinks the entire night. Luckily he didn’t have to worry about any alcohol being slipped into something considering the entire facility was dry.
“Oh my god hi y/n! Was your flight alright?”
“It was amazing. And if it wasn’t, you and I both know that wouldn’t slide with me.”
You and the bride laugh, and she leads you into the club. It’s decorated spectacularly, the lights are well-done yet not blinding. Her fiancee comes up soon after, and the three of you talk for a little. You were a little early, mainly because you always like to scope out a scene.
“So, you guys invited him. This part of the party favors?”
“Well, we figured you two will end up stealing the show and that will be entertaining for everyone, us especially, and it is our party after all.”
She wasn’t wrong. After getting yourself something to drink and catching up with a couple other guests, your attention is quickly taken away. He’s arrived, looking nice as usual. You immediately look away, pretending like you didn’t notice. The conversation with one of the party-goers continues as you two talk about how you met the couple. Soon after he walks past you, brushing your arm. He looks back at you, giving you a glance up and down. You meet his eyes, staring at him while you take another sip. Soon after he’s swooped up by the couple, and he reverts back to normal. It was magical to watch. This dance you’ve been dancing for this long, it’s particular, there are rules, there are steps. You and Mark, you’ve always understood each other despite never laying it out for each other. It’s like your brains are synced, your bodies intertwined. The train of thought is interrupted by the couple making an announcement on the stage.
“Hello everyone!”
There’s plenty of cheering in the club. You keep your eyes on him a couple tables ahead of you as he listens to the speech. They go on about love and some sappy shit, and then say that the DJ will start the music soon. It seems selfish. Don’t get me wrong, these are your friends and you do care about them, but as they told you, they knew what they were doing. You turn to the guest you were speaking to, some guy who works at a bank, apparently has good connections to some dealers, and that’s pretty much the only reason he’s invited to all these things.
“You wanna dance?”
He hesitates, thinking about the interaction he just watched between you and Mark, but ultimately decides ‘why not?’
You lead him out to the dance floor, and you’re the first people out there. Mark doesn’t make a move. He’s usually slower to act than you are, which allows him to watch the fun for a while. As you and this bank guy start dancing it goes from friendly to a little less than friendly fast, and you make eye contact with Mark the entire time. At some point, after the dance floor has filled with quite a few more people, he sets his drink down and gives your dance partner a look, cutting in.
“So, we’re doing this tonight huh?”
He spins you, almost in an ironic way, treating you for a moment like some kind of royalty. He pulls you back to him.
“You do know that’s why we’re here right? The bride and groom wanted some free entertainment.”
You jokingly curtsy, giving his hand a kiss. He chuckles.
“Well then, let's give the couple what they want.”
He whispers sharply and leaves a kiss on your neck, going to find his next pawn. Although it seems mean, the two of you have only ever involved willing parties in this game of yours. Mark quickly finds some other woman. Instead of giving him the attention he so clearly wants, you find someone as well, having as much fun as you can while scheming your next move. For the next hour or so you work on making each other as jealous as possible, and boy does it work. Things proceed to get nastier with each person you bring to the dance floor, even some unspeakable things. At some point you look at Mark again, his brow slightly furrowed. You’re getting to him, and you decide to top off the glass.
“Follow me.”
You and your current stranger head to the bathroom. When you lock the door, he tries to kiss you.
“Woah, uh, no. This is just you doing me a favor. I need us to wait in here for a little bit.”
“But… why would you ask me to come in here if we’re just gonna stand here.”
“Because you’re doing me a favor, and if you do this for me I just might do a favor for you.”
You wink at him, and the two of you spend at least twenty minutes until you emerge, messing up your hair a little before you go back out to the floor. You blow him a kiss and return back to your table, getting another drink.
“That was quick. Not even trying to be subtle tonight?”
Mark comes up behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist. You take another sip.
“Whatever could you be talking about?”
You turn, looking up at him and batting your eyes. He scoffs, and soon enough the couple come back to the floor to announce a group activity.
“So, I have a basket of everyone’s names here, and whichever two I pull together are going to do a duet dance for all of us. So, if you haven’t been out here yet tonight you better get ready.”
You and Mark don’t move, sitting in the comfort for a little bit. He gives you the occasional kiss on your neck or behind your ear as they read off names.
“Mark and y/n! Now isn’t that gonna be fun?”
The bride-to-be laughs and a couple others in the crowd join in.
“She set that up.”
He places another kiss gently.
“I know.”
Eventually all the duos are listed off and everyone is given a couple minutes to warm up. Mark wanders off somewhere and you just keep nursing your drink, mentally preparing yourself. The first couple goes, and it’s fun to watch, considering most of the guests have two left feet. When it’s time for you and Mark to go there are whispers. It’s always been a hot topic in your circles. There have even been bets on the ‘will they won’t they?’ of the whole thing. The song is randomly chosen, but it doesn’t matter. Like I said, nothing throws you off your game. The song begins, you two pick up on the beat, and it’s like you’ve rehearsed it for years. Step, step, feet always in the same formation. He dips you at some point, quickly pulling you back. This number of yours spans the entire dance floor, getting more sensual as the song continues. There are whistles from the audience.
“I bet you’re ecstatic right now. You love when eyes are on you.”
The music is loud enough that no one can hear you talking.
“Of course, but especially yours.”
You step chest to chest, eyes locked in. You step away again, spinning out. The song is almost over now, and you come back close to one another.
“Fuck.”
He mutters to himself.
“What’s wrong? Worried you’ll misstep?”
“Me? Misstep? No.”
For the last few seconds, you throw taunts at each other, until the silence comes in and you two stop, breathing heavily, feeling the heat of the moment and the heat of one another. There’s applause, and the two of you stare at each other for what feels like a millennium. He leans in for a moment, brushing your hair out of your face, and your lips finally meet. Even more applause roars, and you pull back, pulling him outside.
“Well, seems like those two are gonna have a good night!”
One of the guests taunts you as you two walk outside. You’re at the side of the building, and it’s quiet out.
“I’m done playing.”
He pulls you close and you kiss again, making out against some fucking club after making each other jealous at some fucking party. None of it matters past this moment. You mutter longing phrases in between, wondering why the two of you started this to begin with, why you were so into the mind games. You felt soft, like you were being vulnerable, but it didn’t matter. When the two of you disconnect there’s a sense of relief in the air. You just sit in it for a while, smiling at each other like idiots.
“You want to go back to my place?”
You nod. For some reason he insists on driving himself despite having the money for someone to just do it for him. The two of you get into his car, and the tension dies down. You kick your feet up on the dashboard. It’s silent for the first few minutes as he drives through night-time LA. The lights of the cars passing, the perfect temperature of the A/C, it’s all just peaceful. It leads you to finally be open and honest.
“You were right. We should be done doing this.”
At first he’s a little shocked, taking your affirmation the wrong way.
“We should just fucking do it. I’m tired of chasing you and your handsome ass around.”
You two laugh.
“You know y/n, no one else gets me like this. It’s just you.”
You smirk.
“I know.”
“I’m serious. I have a job I can leverage from anywhere. Let’s stop playing, like you said. We’d be perfect.”
“So why didn’t we just do that from the beginning?”
“Because the chase is fun.”
“No one ‘chases’ someone like this for this long.”
You pause, thinking as you stare at the city lights.
“Maybe I thought the magic was just in this little fake world we made. Like we were some actors just performing.”
“And yet you call me anytime you’re having a hard time? We’ve always been special to each other, I think you were just scared.”
Maybe he was right. You’ll never really know, but at least you were onto the next phase. In your gazing out the window, you spot a Sonic.
“We should get ice cream.”
He looks at you for a moment in between focusing on the road.
“W- ice cream?”
“Yeah, have an ice cream date like stupid teenagers or something.”
Mark smiles. Soon enough he’s turning off the road so you two can get some ice cream, sitting in the Sonic parking lot and laughing over your antics over the years.
“Maybe I just needed to grow up a little.”
He raises an eyebrow.
“You told me earlier that I was probably just scared. Maybe I was, but I think I just needed to realize what mattered. And I think tonight, looking into your eyes while we were dancing, I realized you mattered more than everything else.”
The air of innocence, the smell of sugar, the smiles in between sentences, that was the real rush you wanted this whole time, you just didn’t know it. Now you do. Needless to say, you do end up going back to Mark’s place, and you surprisingly end up just cuddling the whole night. And sure enough, you end up going to the wedding as a couple. The bride is a little sad that she doesn’t get to watch you guys dance around each other, but she’s happy that she won the bet of ‘will they.’

He winces at the mess around him once more. “I, uh, kind of thought you were already hit, and I didn’t want to make things worse for you, y’know?”“Get out.”~
Come Here, Get With It by ackermints

Rodar Mi Vida down the Altar
Suprise!!! Or not, depends if you have picked up on the hints in my other fics about Jim and Yam actually dauting this whole time. So, it's time for the wedding!!! Happy bride month everbody!!!
“Here’s my famous hot chocolate!” Jim placed two cups of a steaming beverage on the living room’s coffee table.
“Famous?” Yam looked up from her phone at Jim, “This is the first time you’ve served hot chocolate.”
“Definitely not,” Jim shook her head violently as a protest. “I’ve made this before. But maybe this is like the first time in April.”
“Who said we can’ drink hot beverages in April?” Yam took a cup and sipped from it, “And this is good, so I think we can call it famous.”
“I knew you’d like it,” Jim kissed Yam on top of her head before cuddling to her side and taking her own cup in her hand. “What were you looking at from your phone?”
“I need to figure out something for Mom and Dad’s wedding anniversary,” Yam shook her head, “I totally forgot that it’s coming up.”
“Special one?”
“Kind of, their 25th,” Yam explained, “so I thought that it would be nice to get them a present, to prove that I didn’t forget about the day.”
“Well, most people don’t actually remember their parents' wedding days,” Jim raised her hands in a sort of gesture, “Because they weren’t alive.”
“Well, I was.” Yam laughed, Mom and Dad haven’t ever done things traditionally, outside of like Mom taking Dad’s name. That was the only one. I mean they had a baby while Mom was in med school and her wedding dress was blue. They always tell me that one of their favorite memories of the day was that fact that I was there.”
“Oh please show me that pic again,” Jim asked, “You looked so cute!”
“I wanted to design my own dress,” Yam laughed as she pulled the picture of her parens’ wedding on her phone. Little 5-year-old Yamila was wearing a canary yellow dress and smiling so brightly. “Mom told me that I ended up running around naked with a veil around me for an hour before Nana got me to wear an actual dress.
“You were the cutest flower girl in the world,” Jim smiled.
“Well, it was very good practice,” Yam responded, “Given how many times we have had to pull bridesmaids duty.”
“Yeah…” Jim seemed to look into the distance.
“What is it?” Yam looked at her.
“I just started thinking, almost all of our friends are married, with outside of like Ramiro, but imagine Ramiro married…” Jim started talking. “Why have we never gotten married?”
“Huh, I don’t know,” Yam wondered, “I guess it has never been something we’ve thought we needed…”
“Have we ever truly talked about it?” Jim looked Yam into her eyes.
“I guess not really,” Yam pondered, “I guess it has been something that isn’t done, since we’re lesbians, but that’s not true is it? We can get married if we want to, the world has changed.”
“And we’ve been together more than like Luna and Matteo or Simon and Ambar, or even Gastón and Nina and they have a child,” Jim pointed out. “I mean, I don’t think it has been something we have required in our relationship, but honestly, after seeing everyone's weddings and how happy they are… I have never been opposed to it.”
“You know what,” Yam looked at Jim in her eyes, “Me neither. Honestly, nothing would really change, but it would be really nice, to celebrate our love.”
It seemed like they had the same thought at the exact same time.
“Should we get married?” They exclaimed in unison and then started laughing.
“Yes!” They yelled while laughing, also in unison.
“Wait, this is probably not how it’s done,” Jim laughed, “But I have never proposed before.”
“Well, are there any rules?” Yam made a very serious face after getting her laughter under control and took Jim’s hand,  “Well, Jimena Medina, will you marry me?”
“Yes!” Jim grabbed Yam’s hand, “Only if you marry me as well Yamila Sanches?”
“Yes! We will marry each other.” They started laughing again and then kissed each other.
“Wait, what do we do now?” Jim asked after they separated, “Do we just now tell everyone? Or keep it a secret? What do you do when you’re engaged?”
“We need rings,” Yam pointed out and took her phone out again, “Where is the nearest jewelry store?”
“OOh, then we’ll need to plan a wedding,” Jim pointed out, “Oh, Yammy, we need to get married during the Pride month! But… that would be June, which is in… two months.”
“Of course, June,” Yam nodded, “We’ll figure it out. One thing at a time. Now let’s go ring shopping!”
“Okay!” Jim jumped up from the couch and offered her arm to Yam, “So, shall we, fiancee?”
“We shall, Fiancee.” Yam linked her arms with her and they walked through their apartment's door.
30 minutes later they were eagerly standing in front of a jewelry shop's desk.
“So, how can I assist you ladies today?” The shop assistant walked up to them.
“We’re engaged,” Jim declared, “so we want rings.”
“Well, first of all, congratulations,” The assistant smiled, “We can definitely get you some rings. Are we looking for two, or one and if that’s the case, to who?”
“Uhm, actually,” Jim and Yam looked at each other bit confused, “We… haven’t gotten that far… Which one of us should have the ring?”
“Well, traditionally the one who gets proposed to wears the ring,” The assistant explained.
“But we both proposed,” Jim continued, “And we both said yes.”
“Well, I was just getting to that,” The assistant continued, “A lot of the women couples both get rings, no matter who proposed.  And if it was a mutual decision, like yours, that is what I’d recommend.”
“Okay then,” Yam nodded and turned to Jim, “So, I’ll pick for you and you pick for me?”
“Yes, lets do that!” Jim agreed.
The shop assistant called another assistant over after getting both Jim’s and Yam’s ring sizes. It took maybe an hour and then they were standing in front of each other with boxes again.
“I can’t wait for you to see this!” Jim squealed.
“I can’t wait either,” Yam responded, “Lest reveal them at the same time.”
“On three?”
“On three.”
“1, 2, 3!!!” They counted and flipped the jewelry boxes open.
“It’s beautiful!!!” They exclaimed in unison. Jim had chosen for Yam a ring that had a one solitaire purple leaning ruby which was a pillow cut on a gold band. Yam had also picked a gold band, and a ruby, but it was round and surrounded by smaller diamonds that resembled a vine.
They took turns to put the rings in each other's fingers.
“By the way, do you know where we could host a wedding in two months?” Yam asked the shop assistant after they had paid, “We really want it to be in June.”
“Well, two months is a really narrow timeframe,” The assistant remarked, “But I also understand. I have to say that the courthouse will be your best bet.”
“Courthouse?” Jim and Yam looked at each other again, “Well, why not? We can still decorate it and stuff.”
“Court house it is,” Jim nodded, “Why complicate things? Let's go now so we can get it reserved.”
“To the courthouse!!” Yam nodded and the girls were on their way.

“You’re back already?” Matteo asked Gastón as he pulled the downstairs bedroom’s door shut, after settling Oscar down for a nap.
“He was straight out,” He responded as he sat down on the couch next to Nina. “All the running around must have tired him out. Thanks Luna.”
“I'm nailing this godmother thing down,” Luna jumped on the couch. She had spent the past two hours running around with 16-month-old Oscar in the backyard. He had learned to walk about as soon as he had turned 1-year-old and had been such a speed fiend ever since.
“I think we’ve some sort of lottery on how well he sleeps,” Nina added carefully, “I am almost afraid to say more, so I don’t jinx anything. Delfi told me horrible stories about sleep regression.”
“Victoria had colic,” Gastón ran his hand on her back, “Doesn’t happen to everybody.”
“So, when can we get those skates for him?” Luna continued, “Since I wasn’t allowed to give them as a birthday present.”
“Luna, we talked about this,” Nina looked at Luna, “We’re not gonna force him into any hobby.”
“If he wants to skate, he’s more than welcome to do so,” Gastón nodded, “But not at one. I don’t think anyone’s nerves can handle that. Let's ride the bike first.”
“I hope our kids will want to skate,” Luna jumped up on the couch again, “Matteo, lets have a baby!!”
“I’ve told you that it is gonna require a longer conversation than that,” Matteo looked at her. “But if it really is this easy, it is getting tempting.”
“Yeah, no one said it is easy,” Gastón rolled his eyes at Matteo, “Actually it is not.”
“Did Newton stay at the nursery?” Nina asked while looking around.
“Yeah, he did,” Gastón nodded, “Curled under the crip, like always. When we get Oscar a normal bed, he’s gonna sleep there, mark my words. We’ve lost our dog to our son.”
“It was gonna happen from the point he became best friends with Delfi when she was pregnant with Victoria—”
Nina got interrupted by all four phones dinging at the same time.
“Huh, it’s the group chat probably,” Matteo remarked as they pulled their phones out and opened the Legends of Roller chat—Yes, it was still called that. “Wonder who it is…”
They all stared at the message sent. First there was a picture, a picture of Jim and Yam posing in front of the Buenos Aires courthouse. You wouldn’t think anything of it, if it wasn't for the hands they were holding up in the picture. Their left hands, which had a ring in both of their hands.
All four: Luna, Matteo, Nina and Gastón all did a double take on their own left hands, to check it actually was the right finger. They wouldn’t have needed to do that, because the text under the picture read:
Guess what? Wedding on 16th of June. We just booked the courthouse!!!
“I can’t believe it.” Matteo spoke first, “I never thought they would do it.”
“Well, you thought wrong,” Gastón nodded, “Like very often. Not that I saw this coming any more.”
“THIS IS AWESOME!!!!” Luna jumped up from the couch—once again, but this time she started dancing around the living room.
“Luna, please, little quieter,” Nina shussed and pointed toward the nursery door, “The walls aren't 100 percent soundproof.”
“Oh sorry,” Luna sat back down, “But this is exciting. We thought we were all done with weddings now.”
“Not us,” Gastón shook his head, “I have eight cousins left, or eleven, depending on how you wanna count it. But this is great, just a bit surprising.”
“I guess they come to realize about marriage now,” Nina offered, “People can always change their minds.”
“That’s true. Good for them.”
“Definitely. And we’re getting a party out of it.”

“We’re back!!” Pedro and Delfi were startled by Jazmin’s voice. “You weren’t answering so I used my keys.”
“Oh you’re back?” Delfi shook her head, trying to snap back in the moment. Jazmin had taken her goddaughter, 3-year-old Victoria, on a girls day out so Pedro and especially Delfi, who was about five months pregnant with their second child, could relax.
“Yep!” Jazmin nodded happily as she walked to the living room hand in hand with Victoria, “We got our nails done and went to the hairdresser. Shopping bags are still in my car, I’ll go get them in a minute…”
“We gonna put on fashion show!” Victoria ran to the living room and jumped on Pedro’s lap.
“Well, you definitely look the part,” Pedro laughed. The girl's jet-black hair was on two braided pigtails which were secured with a bunch of colorful elastics and a bunch of hair glitter. “You look beautiful.”
“So, dresses are in the black bag, shirts in the white one, shoes in the red and accessories in the grey one,” Jazmin dropped a bunch of shopping bags on the living room’s coffee table.
“Great,” Delfi nodded, “Thanks for this. She’s growing so fast, and I don’t have any energy to go shopping.”
“Anything for my girl,” Jazmin pulled her tablet out of her handbag, “Can I make a video over organizing the closet?”
“Sure,” Delfi sighed, “If you wanna clean it, go for it. I don’t know what we're gonna do with all the too-small clothes. Gastón and Nina just had to have a boy so we can’t pass them on.”
“Charity is always a good place,” Pedro suggested.
“Yep.” Delfi nodded before looking at Jazmin again. “By the way, did you see the message?”
“Which one?” Jazmin tilted her head, “The one where you told me to not get Vicky’s ears pierced, because you wanna do it when she goes to school? Or the one from Fundom, but how would you know about that…?”
“No Jazmin,” Delfi rolled her eyes, “The one from Jim and Yam.”
“Oh, this one?” Jazmin was scrolling on her phone, “OMG!!!”
“Exactly,” Pedro laughed, “Quite a suprise, and very happy one.”
“Seems like they just woke up today and decided to get married,” Delfi said with a smiling face.
“Well, that is super progressive!!” Jazmin continued. “This is exciting! I need to ask them for an interview. World needs more super chic woman power couples.”
“Did it say when it was going to be?” Pedro looked at the message again, “Huh, in two months.”
“Court house will probably be easy to book,” Delfi suggested before looking at Pedro who was looking at her. “What?”
“It’s in two months.”
“So what? That is also two months away from the due date,” She gave him stern eyes, “I won’t be able to dance very comfortably or drink, but being pregnant is not gonna stop me from attending this wedding.”
“That was not what I was gonna say…” Pedro raised his hands in surrender.
“Good,” Delfi smiled.
Suddenly her phone started ringing.
“Did you hear the news?” Ambar and Simon appeared on the screen.
“I think everyone has heard it.”
“I’m actually not surprised,” Ambar remarked, “This is absolutely their style.”
“You’re never surprised by anything anymore,” Delfi pointed out. “You literally knew I was pregnant before I knew.”
“You don’t ever eat that much ice cream.”

“So, we got the venue booked and the rings, and everyone was notified.” Jim recounted as she and Yam walked into their apartment. “What do we do next? Dress shopping? Cake?”
“Color scheme,” Yam sat down on the couch, “We’ll need that before doing any shopping. Or do you just want a flat-out white wedding?”
“Ugh,” Jim sat next to her, “Sounds like the most boring thing imaginable. We need color… Uuuu, what about rainbows?”
“Of course—”
“May I ask why I was the last one to hear the news?!?!” The door to their apartment sprang open as Ramiro walked in.
“This is our place so I think we should be the ones asking the questions,” Yam rolled her eyes, “Like for example why did we ever give you a key?”
“Because you trust me,” Ramiro shrugged, “Like you should have told me personally about the WEDDING?”
“We didn’t have time,” Jim explained. “But don’t tell us that you’re not happy for us. Or should we be offended?”
“Who said I wasn’t happy?” Ramiro scrunched his brow, “I am very happy, but also offended over having to hear about my best friend’s engagement through a text. That’s not the way to treat your best man.”
“Who said you got the gig?”
“Who else is gonna do it?” Ramiro grinned, “Trust me, I’m gonna give the best speech. Also, I brought cookies…but you can only get them if you…”
“Okay, you can be our best man,” Yam relented, “Just give us the cookies.”
“Oh, also, can I bring a date?” Ramiro asked as he sat down on the couch. “My girlfriend’s…”
“Wait what?!!” Jim and Yam exclaimed. “You have a girlfriend? Since when?”
“Well, I guess it is not quite official yet…” Ramiro scratched his head, “but it will be. Soon. I haven’t had the time to tell you as she lives in Ireland.”
“That’s why you've been so eager to travel?”
***
“Sorry, I’m late.” Nina walked into the mansion’s kitchen where Luna, Jim and Yam were waiting for her.
Jim and Yam had decided to order the wedding cake from Monica and wanted to do a full-on traditional cake tasting and had asked Luna and Nina to join them.
“No worries,” Yam nodded, “We just got here.”
“I would have been late myself if I hadn’t been here since the morning,” Luna noted.
“Okay girls,” Monica walked into the kitchen carrying a tray, “are we ready?”
“Definitely,” Jim and Yam nodded while eyeing all the cakes on the tray, “We didn’t eat any breakfast while waiting for this.”
“But it’s 4 pm,” Luna pointed out, “Why breakfast? You did still eat lunch?”
“Of course we did,” Yam shrugged, “I don’t get your point.”
“So, what kind of cake would you like to taste first?” Monica asked.
“I mean that’s the problem,” Jim hung her head, “All the cake is so good, how are we supposed to pick between chocolate and strawberry.”
“We had both for our wedding,” Luna noted.
“If recommendations are what you’re after,” Monica pulled up an chair sat down, “I’ve just mastered my recipe for a lemon cake that packs quite a punch.”
“Uuu, lets try that one first then!”
“It’s this one,” Monica cut a piece of cake for the girls.
“This is soooo goood!!!” Jim and Yam did their finger thing. “We found the cake… What do we do now?”
“What else do you have left?” Nina asked.
“We’re not even sure,” Yam laughed, “I’ve made a list, but we’ve never planned a wedding before, especially this fast.”
“What are you doing for the dresses for example?”
“I actually asked if Mora would want to come and help us,” Yam noted, “She agreed and made us an appointment in a bridal shop she knows the owner of. So, we got that covered.”
“Are you going shopping together?” Luna raised an eyebrow.
“Yeah, two birds with one stone.” Jim nodded, “No, not seeing the bride thing. I mean traditions are fun and beautiful, but some of them are not quite our style.”
“That is really great. Your wedding should look like you,” Nina agreed.
***
“You remember when I used to braid your hair in the middle of the night?” Ashlyn Medina asked as she released a lock of hair from a curling iron.
“Oh yeah.” Jim laughed as she sat on the chair, “It was past my bedtime, so I sneaked into your room. Mom and Dad never questioned why I woke up with a new hairstyle. Lyni, thanks for doing this.”
Ashlyn led the makeup and hair department at one of Buenos Aires’ theaters. Jim had known from the start that she wanted her big sister to do her hair and make-up. Ashlyn was also going to be the maid of honor.
“I think I did make you swear that I would get to do your hair for your wedding,” Ashlyn laughed, “When you were three and Mom and Dad really were not convinced.”
“Well, both of us will look absolutely fabulous,” Yam remarked from the other chair. She was leaning back with a face mask on her face while her hairstylist was lathering the blonde hair with some serum. Yam trusted her glam crew that always made sure she looked fabulous for photoshoots and performances. “I love these nails.”
Both Jim and Yam flexed their fingers, where Jazmin had given them a pastel rainbow manicure. Of course, the brides would be rocking matching nails.
“Okay, I think we’re almost done,” Ashlyn placed the flower crown on top of Jim’s head, while Yam’s glam team were finishing up her makeup. “Time for the dress.”
“Thank you Lyni!!” Jim squealed as she looked into the mirror.
“You look beautiful.” Yam had turned to look at Jim. Her eyes were already full of hearts.
“Okay…” Ashlyn laughed teasingly, “Save that for the altar, you aren't married yet.”
“Ashlyn,” Yam looked at her humorously.
“Just looking out for my baby sis,” Ashlyn laughed again, “But seriously, I’m so happy for the two of you. I’d love to say that I saw this coming…but let's save that for the speeches.”
“Okay Lyni, you should go change now,” Jim said to Ashlyn while putting her earrings on.
“Don’t you need to help with the dress?” Ashlyn asked.
“The girls will be here any minute,” Yam said, “We’re gonna do an outfit reveal for them, so we’ll have plenty of helpers.”
***
“Hey!!! Mr. Best Man!!!” Ramiro had been looking over the preparations for the ceremony space after he had gotten changed. Really boring job, but Jim and Yam had insisted—since he was the Best Man—and what didn’t you do for your best friends. They deserved the best for their wedding day.
He looked up as he heard Simon’s voice. He was walking into the ceremony space with Pedro and Nico. Ramiro had to note that they were looking quite boring, in their normal suits. He was wearing light blue shoes and a hot pink bow tie, and his own opinion was that he looked quite stylish.
“Hello!” He greeted them. “You’re early.”
“We got out of the house on time, once in our life.” Pedro remarked, “Since we dropped Victoria off with my parents yesterday.”
“This wedding was such a pleasant suprise,” Simon looked around, “We need all this color for the winter season.” Winter, as if it actually was cold or something.
“More notice would have been nice,” Nico remarked, “I wasn’t able to find a date.”
“How sad,” Ramiro rolled his eyes.
“Speaking of dates. You’re gonna stop being mysterious about yours soon?” Simon asked Ramiro.
“Well, you were supposed to meet her today, but she couldn’t come,” Ramiro shook his head.
“You sure she actually exists?” Nico raised an eyebrow.
“Yes, she does,” Ramiro rolled his eyes again, “She just has to work. She texted me ten minutes ago—Hey!!”
“Cool!” Nico snached Ramiro's phone off his hand after he had opened the chat with his girlfriend. “She’s cute.”
“Yeah,” Pedro was also looking now, “Kind of looks familiar. Have we met her?”
“No…”
“This place is looking nice.” Matteo and Gastón walked in and that for some reason made Ramiro snatch his phone back so no more people could get a look.
***
“Hey, hey, hey!!!” Luna and Nina walked into the bridal suite where Jim and Yam had been getting ready. The other girls: Ambar, Jazmin and Delfi were already there. “Where are our brides?”
“Here!” Jim and Yam got up from the sofa where they had been sitting with matching ropes on.
“This is so exciting!!” Luna jumped up in the air. “I love weddings.”
“We’re excited too.” Jim and Yam took each other by the hand.
“Girls, why aren’t you in your dresses yet?” Jazmin suddenly exclaimed, “You’re running out of time soon. You’ll need to make sure that there is enough time for makeup touch ups. Where is the equipment?”
“We’re just about to get dressed.” The girls got up and walked into a side room.
Five minutes later they emerged decked in white. Jim was wearing a T-length white dress with a sweetheart neckline and lace sleeves, while Yam’s pantsuit had a deep V-neckline and puffed sleeves of embroidered see through chiffon. They were both wearing hot pink shoes and jewelry was gold and blue.
Yam’s hair was on a half up half down look with a high bun, while Jim was sporting three different fishtail braids on top of her curled hair.
“Ooooh, you look beautiful!!!” Luna was jumping around again. “This is going to be so great.”
***
The clock was striking 12 in five minutes, which meant that the ceremony was about to begin.
Yam had met College 11 in a music showcase she had done about three years ago, and they had become fast friends. So, she and Jim had asked them if they would be willing to come and perform at the wedding and of course they had said yes. The song Yes, I Do had such a special meaning for the girls, plus it just fit the occasion.
So, Mayra and Bruno were taking their places at the side of the altar to serenade the processional and started playing.
The best man and the maid of honor came down the aisle first. Ashlyn was holding onto Ramiro’s arm and gave a smile to her parents as they stood next to the altar.
The music slowed down. Jim and Yam had decided that they wanted to walk down the aisle together. It also let them avoid the awkward question of whose father would walk who down.
Jim was holding a bouquet of colorful flowers and Yam was supporting a matching corsage. Jim gave the bouquet to Ashlyn as they made it to the altar and they joined their hands together.
“Ladies and gentlemen and everyone else who has the joy to be here today,” officiant started while Jim and Yam were staring each other in their eyes. “Welcome to the celebration of love.”
“Yamila Sances,” Jim breathed as it was time for the vows, “We have been friends for the most of our lives, since middle school. You have always been my biggest support and confidant. I have always known I can trust you with everything. In the end, it wasn’t just friendship, it was LOVE. I love you and I promise to always be there for you, when you kick butt in the music industry and beyond. I am so excited for this new chapter together.”
“Jimena Medina. I’ve loved you ever since I can actually remember. I even love the shade of red that your hair is. I knew from the start that we would need to be in each other’s life. Either together, or as best friends. Luckily, we are getting to be both, because the strongest love is formed from friendship, am I right? This is a great new adventure for us and I am so happy we got to do it together. For the rest of our lives.”
“Do you Jimena Medina take Yamila Sances as your lawfully wedded wife?”
“I do!”
“Do you Yamila Sances take Jimena Medina as your lawfully wedded wife?”
“I do.”
“I pronounce you wife and wife, you may kiss each other.”
You didn’t need to tell Jim and Yam twice. They wrapped their arms around each other as their lips met and everyone cheered.
***
“Let's all welcome our newly wedded couple!!!” The DJ announced, “Mrs. and Mrs. Medina-Sanches!!”
Jim and Yam ran inside dancing to the music before grabbing the microphone. “Welcome to our party!!! This is gonna be an amazing night!!!”

Anon wrote: Dear MBTI notes, you’re a gem for still being into handwriting in this tech-based world. I found myself a bird with the same feather. I am reflecting on your questions so I can’t answer that yet but waiting for you; me & my ESTP bf talked more abt the initial question.
During that time, we went to a friend’s wedding, which made me sulk later. My bf soothed me, (as I think he felt guilty), he asked me why I find marriage personally important. I told him that a status ensures lifelong commitment & gives me inner peace because I want a sign to feel secure. I thought he would dismiss me like he would when he was younger, but he didn’t. He kissed & apologized, saying he never thought of marriage this way before so he suggested a few days to collect ideas, then would give me his solid opinion.
He proposed having children with me If I wanted to (I’m happy he asked me this bc actually he doesn’t really enjoy children despite being good with them). After a day he had his (not solid yet) opinions & asked me to ask you whether his thoughts also stemmed from a troublesome perspective (because I told him I asked someone with knowledge on marriages). The points are:
- Marriage provides rigidity in status & makes a situation static imagery. By standing in one place for a long time relationships aren’t able to get better & achieve more obstacles together in life. People need to change so that they can become better & being held back by a paper makes people problematic beings.
- Marriage sure is a provision for stability but on the flip side aversion to the new. If each person in a relationship isn’t ready to adapt, adjust & change the relationship is doomed to perish. Life is impermanent itself so why fear the forever changing, which is the people?
Questions he asked:
He mentioned he struggles at finding meaning in things that are purpose-implied (Ni inferior?). He asked how marriage that wouldn't imply the potential of a change of status that makes relationships gradually dull & worse. He asked whether marriage stops both people from flourishing in life. This was partly a trigger of his parents’ divorce as I knew from him that they “got bored” of each other when he was at high school.
Furthermore, he has a tendency to either never look for implications or read between the lines in a very useless manner until he gets paranoid about it (so I often stop him whenever he slips into that side). He asked what will change If he marries, is there any new expectations he should gradually learn to change.
That’s all he asked for now. Now that I know (not sure If I knew it all bc I haven’t asked him more yet bc we’re both not clear enough on what’s really our resolute opinions that have considered every serious reflective question) parts of his mind, we’re trying to both think about this for both our sake. Hope I can hear from you soon, I’ll write back when I’ve packaged all my answers to your reflection questions. Sincerely yours.
-----------------------
Since you didn't number your messages, I'm not sure whether I've included them all or in the right order. The previous questions for reflection were purely for your personal clarification. There is no need to send me a response to them.
With regard to personality type, ISTJs and ESTPs are called complementary opposites. Since the order of their cognitive processes are the same, they tend to exhibit similar-looking problems in type development, though coming from opposite directions.
Due to inferior Ne, narrow-mindedness is one core flaw of the ISTJ personality. And if auxiliary Te remains poorly developed, they are unable to accept and work with the facts of the real world, especially new facts. If a particular ISTJ is also prone to Fi loop, they will (stubbornly) remain stuck in one narrow perspective, despite there being much better perspectives available.
Due to inferior Ni, oversimplistic thinking is one core flaw of the ESTP personality. And if auxiliary Ti remains poorly developed, they are unable to detect logical fallacies in their own thinking. If a particular ESTP is also prone to Fe loop, they will attempt to manipulate or force agreement from others in an effort to avoid confronting the flaws in their own belief system.
When you bring the flaws of both personality types together, it's easy to get stuck, because one person can't see more than one perspective and the other only sees the most superficial perspective.
For example, his parents have affected his views on marriage, thus, his sample size is 1? Can you draw a scientifically sound and valid conclusion about marriage from only one example? Also, does he believe he has no control at all over himself? Is it reasonable for him to believe that he will follow exactly the same path as his parents, like you are both programmed robots? These kinds of problematic reasoning patterns indicate a lack of Ti development.
As a couple, if these type development issues are an obstacle and even causing you to clash, then you ought to develop better use of your functions, refer to the Type Development Guide.
The only thing I have left to say about your situation is that the both of you seem to be falling victim to illogical thinking, specifically, the false dilemma fallacy. The false dilemma fallacy means that people, intentionally or unintentionally, grossly oversimplify a situation into only two options, usually two opposing options.
In psychology, logical fallacies create cognitive distortions in your reasoning process. Your perception becomes less accurate and your judgment more flawed, which leads you to make poor decisions and then feel bad about yourself or your circumstances.
The false dilemma fallacy creates a false dichotomy in your mind that easily traps you in unhealthy and extreme thinking patterns such as black-and-white, all-or-nothing, and either/or thinking. "Stability vs change" is a common example of a false dichotomy. (Have you ever heard of "increments", which is a method of learning and changing that also maintains stability?)
The false dilemma fallacy commits two serious errors in logic:
It assumes that the two options presented are exhaustive or complete, meaning there are no other viable possibilities, nothing in between, or no gray areas to consider. This is a common rhetorical trick speakers use to pressure the listener into submission. By purposely leaving out other alternatives, the speaker tries to force the listener into choosing between two extreme positions that do not properly represent the reality of the situation and/or the listener's actual position.
It assumes that the two options presented are mutually exclusive, meaning they shouldn't/can't exist at the same time. Often, the speaker presents their own position as true/acceptable/desirable in such a way as to automatically render the opposite position as false/unacceptable/undesirable, so the listener receives a biased perspective or an unfair comparison. By purposely leaving out the cons of the speaker's own position and the pros of the opposite position, the listener is misled into siding with the speaker.
In order to escape a false dilemma, you must make a conscious effort to counter the above errors in logic:
Recognize that there are more than two options available and take time to discover what they are. Recognize that the two options might merely represent two extreme ends of a spectrum, so consider what lies in between the two poles. Recognize that the reality of the situation is far more complex than presented and take time to consider gray areas and exceptions to the rule.
Recognize that the reality of the situation isn't black-and-white, all-or-nothing, or either/or, so take time to examine how the two positions could potentially overlap, coexist, complement each other, or synthesize into a greater and truer whole.
Why is it that some couples get married and yet still change and grow better together? Why is it that some unmarried couples remain steadfastly together until death? Obviously, stability and change are not mutually exclusive. Stability (e.g. commitment) is needed to combat the deleterious effects of constant flux (e.g. lack of meaning) AND change (e.g. novelty) is needed to combat the deleterious effects of stability (e.g. stagnation). The answer isn't to force a choice between two opposites but rather to figure out their proper relationship to each other.
The real world is not either/or. The real world has many different kinds of couples with many different kinds of arrangements. Whether or not marriage will change anything or change the expectations is not for me to tell you, rather, it is up to the both of you to bring everything out into the open and negotiate the changes and expectations together. But until you can get past the false dichotomy, it will be difficult for the two of you to find middle ground.

Some thoughts on marriage
Growing up I never really understood the idea of marriage. My mom had me at 16 or somewhere near that, & was only married briefly as a result of being pregnant with me & having a less than ideal home life, which she wanted to get out of. My dad has been married or engaged 5 or more times, though now he’s old enough not to lure in underaged girls or young women & is now happily married to a woman who I really like. My great grandparents, who I grew up with, were married over 50 years, & though they bickered I understood that they had committed to each other & my great grandpa took care of my great grandmother through her senility, hiding it until it was noticeable to all.
So, I have mixed views on the topic. On one hand, it seems insane to me to enter into a legal contract for a relationship especially considering I’m not religious in the traditional sense. On the other, I find it incredibly romantic & a statement of devotion.
I my early 20’s the only person I remember breaking up with me (who really just beat me to it, bc I was unhappy & didn’t want to be with him really) told me that the reason he didn’t want to be with me is that he “couldn’t imagine marrying” me, which to me felt stupid & I was fine with at the time (& still am, he was a mess). When I met someone I was infatuated with, he talked about how he was “going to marry that girl” in reference to the last girl he dated, during the first 6 months we were together, which really bothered me. They were together for a year or less as far as I can gather. He later admitted it was because her family had a lot of connections in the film industry, which made me feel a little disgusted by his intentions of marriage if I’m being honest.
Personally, I’ve driven hard lines in the ground with people I’ve dated. Either I’m with you or not, & with you means I’m in 100%. I’m not going to leave unless there’s some seriously extenuating circumstances, such as, my last partner had a serious alcohol problem & got really scary & mean before I decided it was safer for me to leave than stay with them.
Nowadays, I’m with someone I adore & I feel adores me back. We have been together 5 years in a few weeks, which will mark the longest relationship I’ve ever been in. Simultaneously, our family is mentioning marriage (& have been for years).
& im at this crossroads. I think both of us have some doubt about the whole concept of marriage, our families respectively having a long history of divorce & the mess that entails. But also, is that something I actually want? I’m not sure.
By now I did imagine myself with kids of my own, though I love my freedom & ability to do what I want. Marriage feels like the end of that freedom to a certain extent, but also feels like the agreement on a future, & security. We haven’t talked about it, truly. Sometimes I think my partner is working towards a more secure future for us before that, & every time he talks about the future he says US, which is also reassuring.
If he asked I would say yes, but as time rolls on & my experiences & friends get hitched after only a year or two, I do wonder if I’m just not the kind of person someone would want to marry, as that long buried ex said. Or, are people just stupid & rushing into things? Are people just agreeing to things based on their circumstances & ideology? The people I know who have gotten married, largely, also became very institutionally religious. Which, good for them, but that’s not where I am.
I suppose I’m curious what readers think of marriage. What are the criteria? What is the deciding factor? Do you just know?
I’ve also known people happily not married with children in 10+ year relationships. I suppose theres no universal right answer to any of this. Just something I’m pondering after some deeply itchy nightmares.

Do you like getting flowers as a gift? I love flowers but they’re not most practical of gifts - I always appreciate them when they’re given to me.
Who is one person you never get tired of? I don’t think anyone falls into that category, everyone pisses me off eventually lol.
How different would your life be if “that one thing” didn’t happen? I mean, very different.
What is “that one thing”? My break-up with Chris.
What’s the most desperate thing you did? Nothing in particular is really coming to mind right now.
Where was the last place you took a train to? Manchester.
What are your living arrangements currently? Are you happy with them? I live with my husband, two cats and a dog and yes, I’m very happy.
Have you met your soulmate? I don't believe in those.
If your best friend wanted to cheat on their partner, you would say what? I mean, our marriage would be over.
Who do you know that gives very sound advice? My dad is actually really good with advice, he’s very practical.
At what age did you start to feel like a teen and not a kid anymore? Around 12-13.
What is your parents’ idea of grounding you? I was never grounded.
Do you think art museums are pointless? I mean, they’re not pointless but I would never voluntarily go to one.
Do you care about looks when you’re looking for a romantic partner? To an extent, sure.
How many times have you moved? I have no idea, 5-6 maybe?
Is Christmas stressful? No, but then again, I don’t have kids and I take two weeks off work at Christmas so I don’t really have to worry about much.
Your best friend has a good or bad taste in music? Bad lol.
What would your friends be surprised to see in your music library? I have no idea.
Do you like to talk about the future when in a serious relationship? Yeah, I mean, it’s important to have the same goals.
Do you like public displays of affection? No.
Do you believe in moving in together before engagement or marriage? Yeah, personally I think it’s fucking ridiculous to agree to marry someone that you’ve never even lived with before.
Do you watch mukbangs? No.
Do you have a lot of friends? Do you have a partner? Have you ever had one? No, yes, yes.
Do you currently have any hickeys? From who? No.

Have you ever had sex with the same gender? No.
If you’ve experienced both, is sex better with men or women? ...
Have you ever been the other woman? No.
Would you ever want to be with a virgin? If no, why not? Not at my age, no, because I’d want someone with experience and who has been in a committed sexual relationship before.
Do you constantly find yourself internet stalking your ex? No, last I knew he only had Facebook and I was (rightfully) blocked, but I haven't even tried to look in a very long time. I don't look at Sara's accounts anywhere because I've learned it never, ever serves me any sort of good whatsoever so I just don't.
Are you friends with any of your exes? Not really.
Do you have an addiction? To what? The internet and caffeine.
Blunts, bowls or bongs? None of the above.
When you have a fight with your partner what do you do? We normally give each other some breathing space, then talk it over.
Who does the grocery shopping in your house? We each buy our own stuff.
Are your parents still together? Yeah, they’ve been married almost forty years.

Greatest fear? Cancer, dementia and homelessness.
Something most people fear that you do not fear at all? Snakes.

Ever faked being pregnant? No.
Ever had a major surgery performed on you? Nope.
Which of the seven deadly sins are you guilty of? Sloth and greed lol.
Do you believe in divorce? Absolutely - why on earth would you make people stay married to someone who makes them miserable? Or even worse, who is abusive?

Who has made the biggest sacrifice for you? My parents.
Do you treat others better or worse than yourself and why? About the same, I suppose.
When you sleep next to someone who usually falls asleep first? Normally the other person, but it does depend how tired I am.
Do you think it is harder for a parent to outlive their child or for their child to outlive them? I think it must be horrendous for a parent to bury their child. Obviously it’s horrendous to lose a parent too, but that’s what’s supposed to happen.
What is one selfish thing you tend to do? Take over the music in the car lol.
What kinds of people do you find intimidating? People who really talkative and socially confident.
Who is the most overbearing person you know? My old manager fell into that category.
How old was the first person you kissed? We were both eleven.

How many stories tall is your dream house? Three.
Do you consider yourself to be promiscuous? No.
Do you have any obscure pets? No, just cats and a dog.
Do you consider yourself politically correct? No. I know it’s increasingly unpopular view, but I do think people are becoming too easily offended.

So my friend just posted a tb of our group at a club with some of our older friends from when we were in high school, or just out of high-school, literally such babies 🤣 to this day I think the most fun I’ve ever had flirting with someone was when we all ended back at our friends apartment to sleep and he and I were the only ones left awake. He’s a hoe, like not even gunna sugar coat it, he’s the greatest person but he’s THE TRUEST Man whore lol he’s fucking sexy and he knows it. Literally two nights before we had a house party and our lesbian friend was there and she’s absolutely stunning, a major tomboy and probably nobody more gay than her lol she married her gf after that and they’re still together today. so he said I bet you’ll make out with be by the end of the night and they did eventually and they had the whole house cheering. He’s not a creep about it though, like he’s still respectful and wouldn’t ever push it if someone shows they’re really disinterested but he just loves to play the game. Hes hooked up with most of our friends at the time and so this night he and I were talking and dancing and he’s all flirty and he says he can make anyone want to kiss him. So we’re talking about how you know when someone wants to kiss you. He’s going through his whole game and he’s getting closer and closer to my face and he’s like kind of standing over me but face to face and leaning in slowly and then was like half an inch from my face. He says if a guy gets this close to your face what do you do then? I said well he would only ever get this close to my face if I actually wanted to kiss him and then I would.. I pushed his nose up with my nose and he was about to go kiss me as I was pulling away I finished saying- kiss him. he laughed and his face dropped into my neck and sighed. He was like the fact that you did that makes me want to kiss you even more and I was like I know but you’ll be alright. Don’t get me wrong I know I would have loved hooking up with him but the fact that he’s hooked up with any of my friends just makes me have zero interest in going there. I told him that too and he was like I know it didn’t mean anything at all but I’m good, you’re cute though, you really just played me so bad lol 😅I said you’re good, but I’m not the one. he just smiled and was like alright girl let’s go, and we went and cuddled outside while talking shit about how Im the only person who’s played him like that and smoked a blunt together and then went to sleep. Every time we saw each other after that was back to the same as usual.
That’s my problem, the most fun I’ve ever had was just casual flings or fwb with guys I had zero intention of ever being serious with and most of the time had zero intention of being serious with me. As much as I do really want a serious relationship, being single for so long is just so easy. Maybe I’m a little bit of a coward to commit, or I just haven’t connected with someone that makes risking my heart and my peace seem worth it. Whatever, my friends psychic friend who did a reading on me of his own volition told me I’ll meet someone soon that I’m serious about lmao 🤣 that’s a whole other topic for another day. I don’t ever seek out guidance from a psychic, it’s just whenever I happened to meet him he “feels a strong need to read me.”
Anywayyyyy, I love when we come across old memories like that. It always blows up the group chat for a little bit lol then I go back to answering messages in 7-10 business days 😅

Well, I guess that depends on how you’re defining “adult”.  If you’re defining “adult” to mean sexually explicit, heavy gore, and swearing every other word, or something in that ballpark...eh, none of it, by that definition.
I define “adult” stories simply to be stories that are written for an adult target audience, typically about adults dealing with adult problems.  And in this AU, the gang would be dealing with adult problems.
Running a business with friends?  That leads into all kinds of potential problems right there, problems that teenagers (with the exception of a rare few) are never going to deal with.  If they’re running short on cash to pay bills and Fred takes on  a case pro bono? Boom, we have ourselves an adult conflict.
Or take Fred and Daphne’s relationship as an example; a relationship between two people in their mid-to-late 20s is very different than a relationship between, say, 16 year olds.  Fred and Daphne are looking at getting married, and everything that follows that.  How do they handle finances after marriage?  What about kids?  Do they want kids?  If they do, when do they want them?  How are they, as a married couple, going to deal with Daphne’s estranged family?  Those are adult problems!
There’s several potential plot lines for Shaggy and Velma; maybe one of them starts dating someone, and has trouble bringing them into the friend group because the gang have known each other for so long it’s hard for a new person not to feel like an outsider.  Maybe one of them has a “oh I’m 27 and haven’t been in a serious relationship ever, am I going to be single the rest of my life?” type crisis that some adults have.  Those are both adult stories.
And then the cases themselves, and how those are handled.  Classic Scooby-Doo never really had anyone die (as far as I can remember) unless it was an elderly relative who died off screen before the episode leaving an inheritance that kicked off the episode’s plot.  This AU would deal with side characters dying; the gang is sometimes investigating murders.  People might die during the investigation.  While I wouldn’t kill any the gang off (because that’s not fun to me), they’d definitely get injured on occasion and have to take time to heal.  There would be consequences and follow through for events and arcs.  While the story would often keep a lighter vibe (because that’s what I prefer) it would definitely hit heavy topics that classic Scooby-Doo never touched.
Now, I don’t think this is a story that teenagers can’t relate to and enjoy.  I think they could.  But it wouldn’t be about teenagers, and while they’re more than welcome to enjoy it, it wouldn’t be a story for them.  It’s intended for adults; because adults deserve lighter, fun stories too.
Thinking about how I would write an adult Scooby-Doo series, because I think it can be done.
The first thing I’d do is make the characters actually be adults.  Still young, but adults, in the mid to late 20s range.  Mystery Inc. is a private detective type business that they run together.  In this universe, the supernatural/ghosts/etc are real, but not necessarily common, so when they take on a case, the culprit might be a person disguised as a monster, or it might actually be a real ghost.  The stakes can be higher; sometimes a bad guy is legitimately trying to kill them.  Sometimes the mystery they’re trying to solve is a murder.  Sometimes they actually get hurt on their cases.
Fred: the core of Fred’s character should be that he’s incredibly kind.  Like, give a stranger the shirt off his back kind.  The “Fred can’t talk to potential clients because he might take a case for free and we need to eat” kind.  He’s an honest and good person and sometimes gets himself into trouble because he assumes other people are too.  While he’s not very good at reading people or noticing ulterior motives, he’s brilliant when it comes to mechanical or engineering type stuff, so he’s the one who keeps the mystery machine running, builds their gadgets, and of course, designs the traps.
Daphne: she comes from old money, and her parents absolutely despise her life choices, to the point where they haven’t officially disowned her, but they have basically cut her off, so she doesn’t actually have access to any family money.  Growing up wealthy has granted her a variety of skills, including speaking multiple languages, horseback riding, and fencing.  She’s very into fashion and jewelry (even if she can’t afford it anymore) and has extensive knowledge of both that can occasionally provide a vital clue in a case. And even though her parents have cut her off, Daphne still has a wide network of contacts she can ask for favors sometimes, because she’s personable, and people tend to like her.  Daphne is also very emotionally intelligent, and is usually the one who can spot when someone is lying to them.
Side note - I ship Fred and Daphne, so I think I would start them off as an established couple for this universe.  Dating, engaged, married, I don’t care.  They are stupidly in love, ride or die for each other.  There’s no will they, won’t they, no worries about cheating.  They are in a healthy, happy, loving relationship, and no one (not even Daphne’s disapproving parents) are going to mess that up for them.
Velma: she is the forensics nerd who sometimes gets super excited about the wrong thing at the wrong time (”He was mummified in seconds? That’s so cool!” “Velma!  His wife is standing right there!” “Oh.  Sorry.”).  She’s not purposely insensitive, she just gets laser focused on her work and forgets to filter herself sometimes.  She’s also the one who can get so fixated on solving whatever mystery they’re working on, she’s willing to bend or maybe break laws.  Is breaking and entering really so bad?  Not if it gets them answers.
Shaggy: he is still the comic relief, but he’s the comic relief by being the only person in the group that actually has common sense.  He manages the business’s finances, he’s the only one who knows how to cook, and the others tease him for being a coward sometimes, but Shaggy maintains that if a ghost with an axe is coming for you, running is the only sensible option.  He should also have a range of random knowledge that sounds useless, but sometimes saves the day (ex ventriloquism, origami, the history of spoons, etc).
Scooby: as this is a universe where supernatural creatures exist, Scooby is an ancient eldritch type being that took a shine to Shaggy when he was a kid, and took the form of a talking dog to befriend and hang out with him.  Aside from the talking dog bit and not aging, he never uses his powers in a way that anyone notices.  The audience is not told upfront that Scooby is an ancient eldritch being; it should slowly be hinted at throughout the series so the audience put it together, but the characters never realize it.  Scooby genuinely considers Shaggy to be his best friend, and cares about the rest of the gang too.
